We have so tied ourselves to hold onto the past which has kept us captive unknowing to us and has being a great hindrance towards our growth in life. We may have experience so many things in the past but that is life and being able to face our fears and move on makes us stronger and ready for the future.

>Nos hemos atado tanto a aferrarnos al pasado que nos ha mantenido cautivos sin sabernos y ha sido un gran obstáculo para nuestro crecimiento en la vida. Es posible que hayamos experimentado tantas cosas en el pasado, pero así es la vida y ser capaz de enfrentar nuestros miedos y seguir adelante nos hace más fuertes y listos para el futuro.

There was a time when I so much held onto the pains of my past relationship and carried on the badge of the victim in every relationship I go into but in time, I got to find out that holding onto the pains of the past won't let you grow in the present. 

>Hubo un momento en que me aferré tanto a los dolores de mi relación pasada y llevé la insignia de la víctima en cada relación que entable, pero con el tiempo, descubrí que aferrarse a los dolores del pasado dejarte crecer en el presente.

It only makes your mind accustom to the failures and the heartbreaks of the past and your mind creates a barrier which pushes others out but when you decide to face your pain, and decide to let go of every pain which you have accumulated, you start by forgiving yourself and anyone involve. It may not be an easy decision to forgive but forgiving puts off every burden you have been carrying all your life and you get to find out that you carry less weight when you forgive than when you carry pain in your heart.

>Solo hace que su mente se acostumbre a los fracasos y los desamores del pasado y su mente crea una barrera que empuja a los demás, pero cuando decide enfrentar su dolor y decide dejar ir cada dolor que ha acumulado, comienza por perdonarte a ti mismo y a todos los involucrados. Puede que no sea una decisión fácil perdonar, pero perdonar quita toda carga que ha estado cargando toda su vida y puede descubrir que tiene menos peso cuando perdona que cuando lleva el dolor en el corazón.

It is truly important to understand when to let go of something, no matter how important it may seem to us. We may find ourselves in an unhealthy relationship which we have come to invest our time and love towards but its paramount to understand when to let go. I'm using relationship as an example because I found, no, found is not the word because my eyes where open when it all started. It would be, I placed myself in an unhealthy relationship for some time which I wasn't ready to let go 

>Es realmente importante entender cuándo dejar ir algo, sin importar lo importante que nos parezca. Es posible que nos encontremos en una relación poco saludable en la que hemos venido a invertir nuestro tiempo y amor, pero es fundamental entender cuándo dejarlo ir. Estoy usando la relación como ejemplo porque encontré, no, encontré no es la palabra porque mis ojos estaban abiertos cuando todo comenzó. Sería, me puse en una relación malsana durante un tiempo que no estaba listo para dejar ir.

I got to understand that letting go was for my own good and it wasn't the end of life, for there are more interesting things on the way to come. To conclude I would love you to reflect on this quote by Alexander Graham Bell

>When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us. 


>Llegué a entender que dejar ir era por mi propio bien y no era el final de la vida, porque hay cosas más interesantes en el camino por venir. Para concluir, me encantaría que reflexionaras sobre esta cita de Alexander Graham Bell.

> Cuando una puerta se cierra, se abre otra; pero con tanta frecuencia miramos tanto tiempo y con tanto pesar la puerta cerrada, que no vemos las que se abren para nosotros.
