Uno de los juegos que para mí eran los mejores de mi época de infancia eran los de las “maquinitas” que eran portátiles, en los que uno iba recolectando y enfrentando estos “monstruos” para poder lograr llenar una especie de álbum con todos estos y conseguir las medallas de todas las ciudades disponibles.

Si aún no sabes sobre cuál juego estoy hablando, es del Pokémon, el cual era un mítico que hasta hace no mucho mantuvo su estilo clásico y sencillo, que es fenomenal, en el que uno criaba uno de estos y los evolucionaba a nivel máximo y con esto podías llegar a conquistarlo todo, aunque claro no todo era evolucionar, pues aplicaba un poco de estrategia para conocer las fortalezas y debilidades de estos al momento de un enfrentamiento.

Ya que había que analizar que tipo de ataques tenías, que tipo era el oponente y con ello dábamos los ataques mas certeros posibles, teniendo en cuenta que podían existir tipos mixtos y que productos de estas batallas daban un dinero si ganabas fuera de alguna medalla o porque no algún premio como podía ser un huevo, o equipo adicional, en el caso del dinero servía para comprar de todo literalmente. 

Recuerdo que de tantas batallas logré obtener algún huevo de un Pokémon, recuerdo que una vez en una de esas tantas veces que compre uno, compre un huevo de dragón, el cual pensé que saldría un mítico Charizard y me salió otro que la verdad ni recuerdo cuál era, pero no era el esperado, pues este otro era un dragón débil.

Y que posteriormente perdí porque ya no tenía espacio suficiente, pero sí que este tipo de juegos pellizcan en la memoria de uno como aquellos míticos recuerdos de niños y pese a que no tenía estos gameboy y así sí que desde la pc tiempo después cuando surgieron los emuladores o cuando algún amigo me prestaba su gameboy, aprovechaba para matar la “fiebre”, pues este estilo de cosas clásicas tienen su particularidad no tanto como las modernas que pasan a ser un refrito muchas veces peor de lo que pueden ser las cosas de antes.

One of the games that for me were the best of my childhood were those of the "little machines" that were portable, in which one was collecting and facing these "monsters" to be able to fill a kind of album with all these and get the medals of all the cities available.

If you still don't know which game I'm talking about, it's Pokémon, which was a mythical game that until not long ago kept its classic and simple style, which is phenomenal, in which one bred one of these and evolved them to maximum level and with this you could conquer everything, although of course not everything was to evolve, because it applied a bit of strategy to know the strengths and weaknesses of these at the time of a confrontation.

You had to analyze what kind of attacks you had, what kind of opponent you had, and with this you had to give the most accurate attacks possible, taking into account that there could be mixed types and that the products of these battles gave money if you won a medal or why not a prize such as an egg, or additional equipment, in the case of the money was used to buy literally everything. 

I remember that from so many battles I managed to get a Pokémon egg, I remember that once in one of those many times I bought one, I bought a dragon’s egg, which I thought I would get a mythical Charizard and I got another one that I don't even remember which one it was, but it was not the one I expected, because this other one was a weak dragon.

And that later I lost because I no longer had enough space, but yes that this kind of games pinch in the memory of one as those mythical memories of children and although I did not have these gameboy and so yes that from the pc time later when emulators emerged or when a friend lent me his gameboy, I took advantage to kill the "fever", because this style of classic things have their particularity not as much as the modern ones that happen to be a rehash many times worse than what can be the things of before.
