Algunas veces podemos tener al típico amigo que te puede dejar esperando un buen rato al momento de reunirse y es que por mas que uno les diga vamos a vernos temprano y tengas la cautela de decirle para que se llegue temprano por lo menos una hora y que igual te deje esperando, yo por ejemplo trato de ser lo mas puntual que se pueda para todo este tipo de situaciones, pero como todo humano a veces puedo hacer esperar a alguien, pero no mucho tiempo.
Lo cierto es que recuerdo una vez que me disculpé cuando un día tuve que hacer un trabajo para la universidad y llegué una hora demorado por temas de que cayó una fuerte lluvia en mi ciudad y tuve que decirle a mi compañero “lo siento te hice esperar”, pues era imposible transitar la vía con ese río de agua cayendo y llegar “entero” al lugar.
Pero tengo un amigo que es mi compadre, el cual es un maestro en este arte de dejar esperando a los demás, recuerdo que en ambas gradaciones (tanto la del colegio como la de la universidad) este se demoró un poco y como siempre llegaba con una sonrisa como es de costumbre y un “oye vale no me había dado cuenta de la hora”, pero al menos gracias a Dios que consiguió que en ambos eventos esté no iniciara sin que él estuviera presente.
De igual manera sea como sea, es algo común, aunque no está del todo bien, es lo más correcto que sí un amigo, familiar, conocido, compañero de trabajo, etc, nos deja esperando, estos por lo menos se disculpen por esto porque el tiempo de cada uno tiene un valor y quedarse esperando sin poder hacer mucho no está del todo bien.

Sometimes we can have the typical friend that can leave you waiting for a long time at the time of meeting and it is that even if you tell them we are going to meet early and you have the caution to tell them to arrive early at least an hour and still leave you waiting, I for example try to be as punctual as possible for all these situations, but like all humans sometimes I can make someone wait, but not long.
The truth is that I remember once I apologized when one day I had to do a work for the university and I arrived an hour late because of a heavy rain in my city and I had to tell my partner "sorry I kept you waiting", because it was impossible to travel the road with that river of water falling and arrive "whole" to the place.
But I have a friend who is my compadre, who is a master in this art of leaving others waiting, I remember that in both the school and university graduations he was a little late and as always he arrived with a smile as usual and a "hey okay I did not realize the time", but at least thank God that in both events did not start without him being present.
Anyway, it is something common, although it is not completely right, it is the most correct thing that if a friend, family member, acquaintance, co-worker, etc, leaves us waiting, they at least apologize for this because the time of each one has a value and to stay waiting without being able to do much is not completely right.
