# Buenas y Mejores. 

Espero se encuentren entretenidos y consonantes. Es mi segunda aparición en este inmenso universo, y de antemano o antepié quiero agradecer a todos por su cálida bienvenida... Esta vez, vengo a complementar mi primera impresión, en donde hablo de las muchas ramas del  árbol al que llamo personalidad. Asi que acá les dejo una "primera impresión y media", que espero disfruten.  <br/><br />


>Goodies to everyone. I hope you find yourselves entertained and in tune. It is my second appearance in this vast universe, and beforehand or forefoot I want to thank y'all for your warm welcome.... This time, I come to complement my first impression, which speaks of the many limbs of the tree that I call personality. So here is a "first impression and a half", which I hope you will enjoy.

Como dije en mi presentacion, una parte importante de mi contenido, será la música. Ya que, en la música, logro sumergirme en emotividad y éxtasis. 

La música aparece en mi vida antes de nacer, con apenas unos 3 meses de embarazo, mi madre y padre me cantaban en la barriga. Ya cuando nací, mostré un considerable interés musical, y otra vez, mis padres alentaron mi temprana vocación. Participé en distintos programas infantiles y corales, pero no fue hasta que cumplí 8 años que empecé a comprender a fondo la maravillosa y compleja genialidad de la música, como cuando empiezas a diferenciar los sabores de una comida que has engullido toda la vida. 

A esa edad, me inscribí en el Sistema de Orquestas y Coros de mi país, Venezuela, e inicié mis estudios de teoría musical y percusión. Siendo percusionista, valoré al ritmo y su capacidad motora para llevarte a la euforia y emoción. Además, aprendí a tocar variados instrumentos desde pequeñas claves hasta grandes bombos.

>As I said in my presentation, an important part of my content will be music. Because, in music, I am able to immerse myself in emotion and stasis. 

>Music appears in my life before I was born, with only about 3 months of pregnancy, my mother and father sang to me in the belly. As soon as I was born, I manifested a considerable musical interest, and again, my parents encouraged my early vocation. I participated in many different children's programs and choirs, but it wasn't until I was 8 years old that I began to fully realise the wonderful and complex geniality of music, similar to when you begin to differentiate the flavours of a meal you have been eating all your life.

>At that age, I joined the System of Orchestras and Choirs of my country, Venezuela, and began my studies of music theory and percussion. While being a percussionist, I valued rhythm, and its motor capacity to take you to euphoria and excitement. I also learned to play various instruments such as small claves and big drums.

Sin embargo, admiraba mucho a los demás grupos de instrumentos, me fascinaban la melodía y armonía y pues, solo la experimentaba en el xilófono. Entonces, cuando cumplí 14, empecé con clases de piano, un instrumento super completo, con el que empecé a encariñarme, debido a que gracias a él, llené el vacío musical que sentía, de esta forma, aprendo un poco de armonía Y cuando cumplo 16 años, me mudo a vivir con mi padre.

>Yet, I admired the other groups of instruments very much, I was fascinated by the melody and harmony and I was only able to experience it on the xylophone. So, when I turned 14 years old, I started piano lessons, a very complete instrument, and I started to get close to it, because of it, I filled the musical emptiness I used to feel.  In this way, I learned a little bit of harmony.  And when I turned 16 years old, I moved to live with my father.

Viviendo con mi padre, sucede algo espectacular. Llega a mi vida el Rock Progresivo (ProgRock) y el Jazz. 

Desde pequeño, mis gustos se acumulaban en algunos géneros latinos, el metal y rock. Sin embargo, mi tío @juanchez, empezó a enseñarme y recomendarme bandas de rock progresivo, que instantáneamente adoré por sus elaboradas y conceptuales características. Además, empecé a apoyar a mi tío en Steemit, con su propio proyecto de ProgRock. Para esclarecer, el Rock Progresivo, es un género musical que integra elementos de otros géneros o nuevas ideas al rock, creando una sinergia musical que te hace volar y viajar, sin embargo hablaré a profundidad de ello en un próximo post. El Jazz, por supuesto, vino implícito en el ProgRock, y poco a poco le empezo a gustarme bastante. De esa forma, me concentré en aprender a improvisar, cosa que todavía estoy haciendo.

>While living with my father, something spectacular happens. Progressive Rock (ProgRock) and Jazz came into my life. 

>Since I was little, my musical tastes were gathered in some Latin genres, metal and rock. Then my uncle @juanchez, however, started to teach me and recommend me Prog Rock bands, which I instantly adored for their elaborate and conceptual features. Also, I started supporting my uncle in Steemit, with his own ProgRock project. To enlighten, Progressive Rock, is a musical genre that integrates elements of other genres or new ideas to rock, creating a musical synergy that makes you fly and travel, although I will talk about it in detail in a future post. Jazz, of course, came naturally implicit in ProgRock, and gradually I started to like it a lot. Thus, I concentrated on learning to improvise, which I am still doing.

Dado el contexto, debo añadir que desde hace unos 5 meses, me interesé por el Cuatro Venezolano, un instrumento autóctono y versatil. A pesar de que ya conocía los umbrales de su integración en el jazz, por escuchar a grupos como C4 trío, el Ensamble Gurrufío o El Pollo Brito; no pude evitar intentar aprender, y pues, en eso ando desde septiembre. 

Por acá dejo el experimento, ejercicio o jammeo, el tema es un standard de jazz de Wayne Shorter llamado Footprints, escogido porque me fascina su melodía a la vez nostálgica y alegre.

>Given the scenario, I must add that about 5 months ago, I became interested in the Venezuelan Cuatro, a typical and versatile instrument.
