**H**ello photography lovers. In my village we still have many old colonial style houses and almost all of them still have their old wooden doors which in many cases are over 100 years old.

Over time these doors and especially their locks have undergone modifications and the passage of time, so in many cases they provide excellent subjects for quite eloquent photographs. 

>A lo largo del tiempo estas puertas y en especial sus cerrojos han sufrido modificaciones y el paso del tiempo, así que en muchos casos ofrecen excelentes motivos para hacer fotografías bastante elocuentes.

For these pictures I used my old faithful Nikon D7000 camera and my lovely 35mm fixed lens, whose brightness has allowed me to take them under a relatively cloudy day but with even light coming from the almost white sky because of the clouds, so I haven't had to deal with uncomfortable shadows disturbing the view of the old locks. 

>Para estas fotografías usé mi vieja y fiel cámara Nikon D7000 y mi encantador lente fijo de 35mm, cuya luminosidad me ha permitido hacerlas bajo durante un día relativamente nublado pero con luz pareja proveniente del cielo casi blanco por las nubes, entonces no he tenido que lidiar con incomodas sombras que alterasen la vista de las viejas cerraduras.

This is a very interesting and relaxing type of photography, as it has a lot of things to experiment with. The textures, the colours, the contrasting elements and the visual drama they convey, make these photographs very enjoyable to take and especially to edit and then look at closely. 

>Este es un tipo de fotografía muy interesante y relajante, pues posee muchas cosas para experimentar. Las texturas, los colores, los elementos contrastantes y el drama visual que transmiten, hacen que estas fotografías sean muy agradables de hacer y en especial de editar y luego observar detenidamente.
