It was early hours of the morning Rita was watering her flowers, she wanted the rose to boom.
She always love seeing the bright side of her flowers as an old woman what else does she care.
The buzzing sound of her mobile phone vibrating in her pocket brought her back to life.
She checked her phone, her daughter was calling.
"hello sugarplum" she said.
"hello ma" her daughter Jane replied from the other end.
"ma, I and my kids will be coming home next week"
"they want to spend time with you" Jane informed her.
"oooh that's great my sugarplum, I have missed them too" she said.
"alright ma, love you bye" Jane said.
Rita was so happy, she really need someone around. The house has been quiet, she only had her flowers to worry about.



Her kids came, ran to her and embraced her.
She already made some cookies for them and told them to go get the cookies and feel at home.
"ma, you don't need to worry yourself by cooking though" Jane said smiling.
"mmmm, I have missed your cookies ma" she said fulling her mouth with the cookies.
Rita laughed "I know you have, you only pretend telling me I couldn't have stressed myself in making the cookies".
"come on ma, you know I love you" Jane said joining her to laugh.
"hey kids, let me take you down the memory lane of your mom when she was little" Rita said calling their attention.
"yah!!!!, tell us grandma" they chorused coming to where Rita and Jane was.
