A cousin of mine just a few years back that I was home with him, would always grumble and complain on how he is suffering for being born into the family.

He even emphasized that his parents could have given birth to a number of children they would be able to carter for.

He made comparison with how rich people only give birth to a few children sometimes even a child and they make sure the person has a best life financially.

When it comes to family struggles it always boils down to financial challenges.

Because a family that has resources that can span them for a lifetime or for a good amount of time while they continue to earn and save doesn't have to worry about how they should be taken care of.
This implies for both the children and parents.

When the parents had the funds to support their children without much struggle, they won't really feel it when their children doesn't send them money for upkeep when they are grown.
Then, they possibly has some funds to take care of themselves.
Thereby encouraging and advising their children to start thinking about their own family i.e their wife and children.

If the cycle continues this way, there won't be any course for alarm.

But when it's a different case, matter arises.

True is, as children who witnessed their parents go through a lot to Carter for them.
We feel this urge and need to reciprocate by providing for them financially.

I would only support a financial support from a child to his/her parents without having to cut off his/her head.

This is where the gratitude comes in, it shouldn't be like a sole responsibility of the child especially when the person is still struggling and probably the parents are okay.

Truthfully, if they are good loveable parents, they wouldn't allow their child to go through a lot just to fill that financial care gap.
Sadly this happens in most cases.

Whereby most parents see it as a sole responsibility of the child to carry the weight.
Some make comments like "I am the one that brought you to the world, I carried you for nine months and took care of you for years etc"

What if that child dies in the process of trying to please you?
Won't you still continue to live your life?
