How one sharing can create a sense of community ?

<h1>Kindness</h1>

kindness, you know the thing we always forget, this thing dedicated to the happiness of others and of yourself.

Can you tell at what point someone decided that concurrency and greed is better and the common social standard/value?

We could say that the concept took some importance around 1820 and the apparition of social darwinism. It is a theory which deform the approach of Darwin on the natural selection, even if Darwin himself said that it is based on 2 powers/forces:

1) competition
and
2) cooperation

so competitive spirit implemented itself until today in the matter that we will always be the loser in concurrency of someone else. For example school and notes: we give you a number to make you know your value so you can compare it to others and choose your destiny.

Some will say “concurrency is natural, there is nothing bad and that we shouldn't do anything against it”.

To respond to social darwinism, Pierre Kropotkine has written in 1902 a book entitled: 
“L'Entraide, un facteur de l'évolution (Mutual Aid: A Factor of Evolution)”. In a nutshell it said that the evolution of species is fundamentally based on cooperation.

Prehistoric people did understood that principle well, to hunt a bunny-mammoth, it's easier to do it in a group!

Another example, Google, one of the most competitive company in the world paid statisticians, sociologists, psychologists, and engineers to determine on what is based the effectiveness of a working team. We name it the psychological safety. 

Psychological safety in one sentence it is the feeling of confidence than in the group your message will be heard and you will be supported to take a risk. 
To evolve we need to take risks, but to take risks we need to feel secure, otherwise it is not a risk it is danger. 

So if you are not worried to feel humiliated to express yourself in a middle of the group and If you are supported by the group, then you feel secure, and you can take risks, you can do it again. Take other risks will lead to make it better, to improve yourself and learn to the benefit of both, the group and you as you are part of it.

The basis of all of this, the soil to make it grow it is kindness. In french we say “bienveillance” (benevolence). It means “veilleur au bien” (to look after the good of others). 

bene ("good") and vŏlens, vŏlentis ("willingly, willingly"), vŏlō ("will").

Wikipedia says that benevolence is the affective disposition of a will that aims for the good and happiness of others. The term is modeled after Latin benevolens, which later became volunteering.

To be kind with others first  we need to learn what is empathy, which means understand the other and not feel the same emotions than the others, that is not the same.

Helping others, it creates a virtuous cycle. You understand the others and they are understanding you. Then you need to be kind with yourself. Because if you are not kind and understanding with yourself you’ll be angry, and if you are angry you can not really be kind with the others.

A system based on kindness is mathematically more efficient than a system based on concurrency.

We can observe that behavior which is driving the most evolution of all children and mammals it is imitation. So to create a kind future, we need to apply kindness to ourself in order to do that together. However, “be careful kindness is contagious” ;-)
