Para alguien que, como yo, no tiene el hábito de moverse en la convulsión de las grandes ciudades, ir por diligencias personales a Caracas ( Capital de Venezuela) es siempre una carrera contra el tiempo y la necesidad de resolver todo lo posible para aprovechar el viaje. Más si toca moverse en transporte público claro está. 

>For someone who, like me, does not have the habit of moving in the convulsion of the big cities, to go by personal errands to Caracas (Capital of Venezuela) is always a race against time and the need to solve everything possible to take advantage of the trip. More if you have to move by public transport of course. 

Organizar la ruta o itinerario de manera efectiva para llegar a buena hora a cada lugar, esperar la buena disposición de algún funcionario que agilice los trámites con una respuesta oportuna. Que le digan un No oportuno a uno también ayuda, no es lo ideal, pero ahorra tiempo de pasar a otras cosas.

>Organize the route or itinerary in an effective way to get to each place in good time, waiting for the good disposition of an official to expedite the procedures with a timely response. Being told a timely No also helps, it is not ideal, but it saves time to move on to other things.

Mientras las horas pasan tratando de no tropezar con la gente en las avenidas, que van o vienen o simplente están allí vendiendo desde un tapabocas hasta la promesa de una vida larga y cuando el celular muestra en su pantalla que ya pasó la una de tarde llega el momento de pensar en le regreso. Salir de Caracas rumbo a mi Ciudad-Pueblo.


>While the hours go by trying not to bump into people on the avenues, who come or go or are simply there selling anything from a snack to the promise of a long life and when the cell phone shows on its screen that it is already past one o'clock in the afternoon, it is time to think about the return. Leaving Caracas on my way back to my hometown.


Algún frugal almuerzo, para mentirle al hambre y de nuevo a buscar el transporte público que lleve al terminal de autobuses. Prefiero ir en bus y obviar el subterráneo. Gusto particular realmente.

Te montas en el bus, te acomodas entre la gente después de saludar con un "Buenas tardes" que no obtiene respuestas. Después de un rato de pie un asiento se desocupa y tratas de acomodarte. En la mente se empieza a hacer un balance del día, colocar tildes imaginarias a las tareas logradas y en medio de esos pensamientos azarosos, recuerdas porqué prefieres el bus y reparas en la vista que ofrece la ventanilla, allí está. El regalo que una ciudad como Caracas ofrece a propios y extraños, una visión espectacular de su eterno guardián "El Avila" o como le llamaron los pobladores originarios "Guaraira Repano"

>You get on the bus, settle in among the people after greeting with a "Good afternoon" that gets no response. After a while of standing a seat is vacated and you try to settle in. In your mind you start to take stock of the day, put imaginary tildes to the tasks accomplished and in the middle of those random thoughts, you remember why you prefer the bus and you notice the view from the window, there it is. The gift that a city like Caracas offers to locals and strangers, a spectacular view of its eternal guardian "El Avila" or as the original inhabitants called it "Guaraira Repano".

Así me alejo del centro de la ciudad con esta estampa en la pupila, ya me conocen. No me la iba a quedar para mi solamente, así que se las comparto.
