Wow 500 up thats massive wow 

It rained in the Czech Republic in the morning just like in your video :-). The birds sing a celebratory spring song at your place and they are preparing to fly south with us. Their songs sound sad as a farewell. However, we hope that spring will come again and with it a cheerful bird song :-)

Those birds are definitely celebrating! So is the First of September official first day of Spring in SA? In Europe we go by the equinox (so for us it is around 21st March). Autumn is officially 21st(ish) of October but it may feel autumnal way before then.

Sheesh!  If this is spring, roll on summer.  I have been cold for four solid days!

Yesterday must have been one of the coldest spring days in years, at least it's clearing a bit but quite a chilly wind here. Good for the washing, I still have a ton of linen from weekend guests, tumble drier worked overtime yesterday!

So glad you are getting some Spring rains for you have been having quite a drought the last bit.
Funny to see so many birds when it's raining out I thought they would take shelter in the rains.
Love the yellow tinted birds with the yellow flowers - great to see signs of Spring as we are preparing for frosts ending the growing season!  

Loved the chirping of the birds, they are always a melody to our ears. And regarding the load shedding, I'm happy our country is not alone 😂
