How to Make Spicy Shredded Chicken Pastel

yooo hello my fellow hivers and the entire hive community from all over the world friends are. Back again with me Jodi Pamungkas on the blog of snacks and food recipes that are very easy for you to make yourself at home. Happy Monday to all of you and I hope your activities are going well. Thank you for those of you who have read and stopped by my previous post regarding the recipe for making sweet martabak with mixed toppings. Have you tried making this food? if so, give your feedback about the recipe and whether you succeeded in making the food. Today, I will share a recipe for fried food or snacks originating from Brazil and Portugal, Pastel is also a fast food that is very popular in Brazil. Now we will try to make Pastel with chicken filling and spicy chili. Curious how to make this snack? just look at the recipe below and good luck for those of you who want to try to make this food.

To make this Pastel, you must prepare the following ingredients, first you have to prepare half a kilo of fresh chicken or according to your wishes, then prepare wheat flour with medium protein, then sugar, salt, wheat flour with high protein, pepper, seasoning beef broth, 1 cup mineral water, 1 egg, margarine, carrots, red chilies, leeks, celery leaves, beans, garlic and the last is red chili. After you have prepared all the ingredients, let's start the first stage.

The first stage, first clean the chicken that you have prepared, then prepare the pot and pour water into the pan, then put all the chicken and boil the chicken over medium heat until all the chicken is tender. What we use in this recipe is only the chicken meat and we don't need the bones. While the chicken is boiling, let's prepare the spices first.

The second stage, cut into small pieces all the carrots, beans, celery and leeks. Then cut off all the ends of the chili and peel all the garlic. Now we move on to the next stage.

The third stage, after you have boiled all the chicken until tender, now all you have to do is cut all the chicken into small pieces, you can see the photo above to make it clearer and not wrong. After you have cut all the chicken, now we prepare the spices first.

The fourth stage, prepare a blender and pour red chili, cayenne pepper and garlic, then pour enough water into the blender as well. Then blend all the ingredients that I mentioned earlier until completely smooth.

The fifth stage, after the ingredients I mentioned earlier have been smooth in the blender, now prepare a frying pan and pour enough cooking oil, then pour all the spices that have been pureed earlier. Saute the spices over medium heat until the spices release a fragrant aroma and are cooked.

The sixth stage, after the seasoning is cooked and gives off an aroma, now you have to add it, pour all the carrots and beans that you cut into small pieces before, add half a teaspoon of salt, half a teaspoon of sugar, pepper and beef broth to taste. Then stir again until everything is evenly mixed.

The seventh stage, after all the spices above have been mixed evenly, now pour all the chicken that you have cut into small pieces before, add enough mineral water into the pan. Then stir again until all the chicken is mixed with the spices that we have prepared.

The eighth stage, after everything has been mixed evenly, add the leeks and celery leaves that you have cut into small pieces before. Stir again the spices along with the chicken until the spring onions and celery are evenly mixed. Now we will make Pastel dough first.

The ninth stage, prepare 1 place and put 400 grams of flour with medium protein and 100 grams of wheat flour with high protein, then add beef broth and salt to taste, then add enough mineral water, 1 egg and lastly add 2 tablespoons eat margarine into the dough. Then stir until the dough becomes soft by using your hands, don't forget to wash your hands first.

The tenth stage, after the previous dough has been stirred until soft, flatten the dough using a rolling pin, after the dough is flat, take a mold with a round shape and make it the same as the photo above, you can also use a glass if you don't have a round mold .

The eleventh stage, after you have done the previous step, take 1 dough that has become round, then put the stuffing that has been cooked before. For stuffing, you can put whatever you want.

The twelfth stage, after you have put the filling into the dough, now fold the dough like the photo above, you can use a special Pastel mold or you can watch on youtube to find out how to fold Pastels properly. Do this step until all the dough and filling are used up.

Well, all pastels are ready to be shaped and filled with chicken and spicy chilies. Sorry for the pastel shape that is not very attractive, because I do not have a special pastel print. What do you think ? is it difficult to make Pastel ? Of course not, you don't need much time to make Pastels. Now we will enter the final stage which is frying all the Pastels.

The last stage, prepare a frying pan and pour enough cooking oil, first heat the cooking oil until hot, then put one by one the pastels that have been filled with chicken and spicy chilies. Fry all the Pastels until they are brown, don't forget to use low heat so that the Pastels don't burn and are cooked perfectly.

Well, finally the Spicy Shredded Chicken Pastel is finished and ready to be eaten for your family and friends. The taste is really very good, when bitten, the surface of the Pastel is very crispy and also tasty, the chicken and chili stuffing is very spicy.
