Can't do DCA? Hive solves this 
Identifying token(s) with great potential for accumulation to increase the chances of making it big in crypto is one of the important success traits in crypto, a move like this eliminates gambling in on crypto and chasing after shitcoins, pick project(s), invest time and money into it and let it appreciate in value. 

This is where [DCA](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-dollar-cost-averaging-dca) comes into play, a strategy to accumulate certain tokens periodically. The benefit to this is having to time the bottom is becomes no concern, you just keep buying at a set price during bear or bull season.  
 
Reading ***pouchon's*** [FEAR CREATES OPPORTUNITY](https://leofinance.io/@pouchon/fear-creates-opportunity) earlier today got me thinking am a supporter of DCA but have never had it implemented in my crypto investment so far, instead I buy during the dip when the funds are available for buying the dip. 

I certainly would love DCA, in fact I wish I knew about this strategy when I was full time employed, am sure I would have been disciplined enough to keep buying x amount of tokens on monthly basis.  

Being a freelance worker now since Covid happened with no constant inflow of income monthly, I managed the funds from freelancing for financial needs to prevent me from spending my cryptos now , so DCA isn't an option suitable for me at this point as I like embarking on a plan and sticking to it.

**Hive solves this**

With cash flow being a problem, Hive presents the opportunity to trade one's time consistently for rewards in Hive and other tokens like LEO, SPS, DEC amongst others.

It does make sense to DCA if you believe in the project and places like Hive where you can earn are also good places to be. If you don't have the money, then just spend some time instead.

DCA is good when the money is available to spend, sometimes we only buy when it's the dip and when financial or purchasing power suffices. So many limitations.
