This is not a quick follow for follow - voteup for voteup - resteem for resteem and then move to the next - kind of team. 

This tag/team was created because being a minnow (noob) in this sea of dolphins and whales can be a bit intimidating and we want to make sure we do our best to help the whole community grow. 

 We started to build this group of awesome people before becoming aware of the @minnowsupport project which was created by @aggroed, @teamsteem, and @ausbitbank in conjunction with some other innovative steemians. We recently became a members of the project and the [discord channel](https://discordapp.com/invite/HYj4yvw) which is a forum they created where you can chat with other people in the minnowsupportproject. We'd like to recommend joining with us in the minnowsupportproject if you haven't already. We're adding M2W at the end of my usernames to represent our small team amongst the big team and you're more than welcome to as well. We'll be creating a post explaining more soon. 

@aggroed, was kind enough to give us a channel in the discord site where we can chat and network with each other as well as the rest of the steemians who are there. We've met many awesome people there so far and I know you will too. We're super excited for this opportunity. 



**Our pledge to you**
Many of us will continuously be adding steam power to our accounts so when we upvote your stories, we can get the best possible outcome for you. We will dedicate time daily in making sure we show our support. We will hold contests and give away free items like giftcards or steem. 
We will introduce people together who are likeminded or have something to offer one another creatively. 
We will recommend other members whom we think may enjoy your work to view and support you if they'd like. 

**Whales & Dolphins** 
We all aspire to be one but many steemians will fail. From what we've seen there is no shortcut to greatness here other than attracting whales with great content and being a great steemian. By working together and teaching one another what we've learned, we will create content we're proud of and also have a better chance at attracting the whales and dolphins.

We're calling for the newest generation of steemians to join us in contributing to steemit the best we can. 
We will work together. 
We will help each other figure out how to navigate un da-da seas of steemit.
We will help each other grow as content creators, curators, authors, photographers, artists, investors, musicians etc.  
We will help this platform further grow to something we can all be proud of and something we helped influence. 
It all starts from the bottom floor - "how the hell do I change my avatar" or "what the heck is a steem power". 

From the steemit ocean floor we will rise. We will warmly welcome the newer steemians after us and help them do as we did with one another. We will become a team of quality and reliability and it starts right here, right now. June 2017

We will make baby steps in growing our community and We're asking you to take this 1st baby step with us and start using the tag #minnowtowhale in your stories and then support others who do the same. 
We will build up our reliable tag to get our content out to the masses and the community will decide its value from there.

**Mission** 
Rise to the best of our ability as fast as possible. Some of us may feel late to this party but we believe we are all early in a sense. There are still millions of people who don't know about steemit yet but they're coming and the closer we are towards whale status the better off we will be when the masses arrive. 



**Requests** - Simple, be kind to one another and be willing to take the time to offer constructive criticism at the right moments in order to help each other produce the best content we can. This is a new world for many of us.  

When you decide to comment on another members post, let them know you are a team #minnowtowhale member. This way they know their team has their back


This is a small group within a large group
