El futbol tiene la capacidad de hacer latir el corazón de toda una nación, levar a millones de personas de sus asientos y festejar una ansiada victoria, así como lo mencioné en mi publicación pasada, el honor de esta competición va más allá de lo deportivo, se vuelve un asunto de orgullo nacional, sin embargo, así como este hermoso deporte puede hacer brillar los ojos de millones, puede también romperle el corazón a muchas otras personas, es un va y ven de emociones que hace que el futbol hasta los momentos sea uno de los deportes más emocionales de todos, tanto para jugadores como para la fanaticada.

Escribo esto debido a las grandes sorpresas que nos ha brindado Catar 2022, selecciones que se mostraban favoritas han quedado en el camino, dándole paso a otros equipos menos tradicionalistas en cuanto a los mundiales de futbol masculino y en ese sentido deseo comentar mi opinión acerca de aquellas selecciones que no pudieron avanzar a la segunda fase del torneo.



La eliminación de Alemania y Bélgica en la primera fase del mundial era algo que pocos tendrían en cuenta, por parte de los germanos el haber fracasado en fase de grupos en el mundial pasado le otorgaba una presión extra para el 2022, con un muy buen equipo, muchos le dábamos a Alemania el puesto de líder de su grupo o al menos empatados con España, ahora bien hay un aspecto que se vuelve evidente para el equipo germano que sin dudas afecta los resultados.

# Falta de Un Goleador de Clase Mundial En Alemania

# Bélgica

Por su parte, el quipo belga posee una de las mejores plantillas de su historia, además, posee el puesto de privilegio en el ranking FIFA, sin embargo, la falta de efectividad les hace pasar factura, sobre todo en el último partido contra Croacia, con un Lukaku pasando por lo que puede ser el momento más amargo de su carrera, como lo mencioné en un principio, ya es asunto de orgullo nacional, pero parece que desde el comienzo los mismos jugadores no se veían con la motivación suficiente como para llegar a hacer una buena copa del mundo.

A pesar de que ya el mundial se encuentra en su fase de eliminación directa, este no deja de otorgarnos grandes sorpresas, aunque la mayoría de los favoritos acaba accediendo a la fase de 4 tos de final, ya muchos podemos percibir esa sensación de que cualquier cosa puede pasar de aquí al final del certamen.



# Argentina



Donde observamos un espectáculo de Argentina desde un punto de vista táctico y futbolístico, un juego excepcional contra una sorpresiva Australia que han repetido desde su enfrentamiento contra Polonia, lo que le hace pisar fuerte y convertirse en uno de los favoritos para llegar hasta semifinales, aunque fue un juego que muchos ya daban por sentado el favoritismo del equipo de Messi, Australia demostró un muy buen funcionamiento, sobre todo, luego de vencer a la poderosa Dinamarca. Si en este momento me preguntan sobre la superioridad de Países Bajos o Argentina, desde un punto de vista objetivo responderé a favor del equipo sudamericano.

En el mundial pasado observamos a los Balcanes llegar hasta la final luego de jugar prórrogas y tanda de penales, por lo que no era descabellado que se llegara a esa instancia contra el buen equipo de Japón, Croacia se impuso basado en esa experiencia que bien cosechó en el 2018.



# Inglaterra



El equipo británico tiene una plantilla que tranquilamente puede ser una de las candidatas para llegar a la final, se enfrentaron a un durísimo equipo de Senegal, un equipo que si bien no tiene a Mané, es el campeón de África y posee un equipo con muchos jugadores muy bien acomodados en el futbol europeo, sin embargo, la lógica era que los ingleses derrotaran a Senegal de forma cómoda.



# Francia



Podemos describir que el juego del equipo galo es fantástico y se posiciona como uno de los candidatos para el trofeo más preciado del futbol, un funcionamiento colectivo muy bueno, pero también desde el aspecto individual, guiados por un inspirado Kylian Mbappé.

A mi parecer, Mbappé puede convertirse fácilmente en un jugador histórico de los mundiales, pienso que a su corta edad tiene la posibilidad de romper el récord de Miroslav Klose como el máximo artillero en los mundiales, algo que seguramente anhela el joven francés, además de volver a coronarse campeón mundial junto a sus compañeros. Al menos hasta ahora, pienso que ha sido el mejor jugador del certamen, aunque por la mente también se cruzan los nombres como Messi y en un escalón más abajo, Bruno Fernandes.

# Brasil

Nuevamente, Brasil hace temblar a los rivales con una exhibición de buen juego colectivo e individual, me parece que es uno de los equipos con mejor juego, no solo manejando la posesión a placer, sino que traduce la posesión en ataques que terminan siendo efectivos cuando los amazónicos lo desean, por otro lado, cuando sacan el pie del acelerador el juego ofensivo se desvanece, algo que supuso una oportunidad para la República de Corea de maquillar el aplastante resultado de la canarinha. Desde mi humilde opinión, Luis Enrique no supo jugar bien sus fichas tanto contra Japón como contra Marruecos, al equipo ibérico le hace falta un mediocampista que junte jugadores rivales y que pueda hacer pases entre líneas, un jugador que apueste por superar con técnica a otros jugadores, le hace mucha falta jugadores como Iniesta y Xavi Hernández.



# Portugal



Para mí, uno de los favoritos por esa plantilla tan excepcional que tienen los lusos, aun con Cristiano Ronaldo en la banca, su suplente convierte tres goles de alta factura en el mundial, un equipo que incluso tiene el lujo de dejar en la banca hasta el segundo tiempo a Rafael Leão, el cual es uno de los mejores jugadores de la liga italiana, un equipo del cual espero ver enfrentarse contra Francia en semifinal.
