If you've been wondering how you can contribute to building the blockchain #Hive, then you're in luck because #Hive and its team have expanded their initiative to ensure that every aspect of the platform is met. One of the latest additions to the #Hive community is the #Hivedevs school which has been established to help bring up new developers who have a passion for growing the platform. Through this academy, #Hive is expected to expand and become more recognized globally.

One of the unique objectives of the academy for students is that [projects and assignments](https://twitter.com/DocumentingHive/status/1658610388580139010?t=Du-e5zQYGNEuFrOVkVHvcg&s=19) would be shared on the #blockchain, and in-depth knowledge would be impacted regarding how #Hive transactions are read, among other things. By being a part of this academy, students are equipped with the skills to both build #Hive and develop their personal capacity in the world of tech. The best part is that it is a learn2earn program where every activity is an opportunity to earn in #Hive, making it a massive plus to the platform's ecosystem.

Personally, I recall having an interest in joining the #dev team, but I lacked knowledge of the programming language #Hive uses in their projects. Fortunately, the #Hive team has thought it wise to help people like me gain knowledge on how the #developers operate, which goes a long way to increase value in the blockchain. Communities like #leofinance, #Splinterlands, #liketu, among others, would be a great start for me to develop.
