En estos momentos de pandemia es difícil sacar a nuestros niños a jugar con la libertad que antes lo hacíamos. Permitir que participen en deportes junto a otros niños de sus edad sin ningún tipo de restrición es casi imposible.

Para nosotros como familia ha sido un poco difícil sobrellevar el tema de la pandemia con nuestros niños porque a raíz de esto nuestros pequeños se han vuelto más sedentarios, están más obsesionados con la tablet, los celulares y las computadoras. Pero bueno quién no, si sólo están en casa sin poder salir. Aunque tratamos que ellos participen en actividades familiares y hagan ciertas actividades manuales para distraerse, esto no es suficiente. 

Hace unas semanas observé detenidamente a mis dos hijos y caí en cuenta que de verdad están gorditos debido al sedentarismo y dije: tengo que hacer algo para que ellos dejen esta vida sedentaria y luego no se compliquen con enfermedades de alto riesgo por culpa de la obesidad.
 
Además de sentirme culpable por no haber atisbado esta situación con anterioridad y porque además a mí me gusta hacer ejercicios y desde que comenzó la pandemia lo hago en casa. Entonces me dispuse a diseñar un circuito de aproximadamente una hora y que empecé a implementar diariamente con mis pequeños y algunas veces mi esposo también se nos une y participa. Nos sirve a todos porque compartimos en familia y quemamos algunas calorías en compañía con nuestros chipilines.

Mis niños están en edad escolar, tienen seis y ocho años. En esta edad justamente es cuando ellos necesitan ejercitarse para fortalecer sus habilidades físicas como correr, patear, saltar, atajar cosas en el aire. Realizar estos movimientos los mantiene atentos y se vuelven más concentrados al momento de realizar alguna actividad física.  Además ellos tendrán una vida sana emocionalmente y un desarrollo físico saludable.

Estuve investigando un poco más del tema sobre los beneficios que aporta la actividad física en los niños y quiero compartirlo con ustedes.

- Sus huesos y músculos crecen sanos y fuertes
- Fortalecen el corazón
- Tienen una mejor postura y equilibrio
- Los ayuda a mantenerse en su peso ideal
- Crecen con autoestima 
- Alivia el estrés causado por el encierro


Así que sólo debes animarte y organizarte con las tareas de la casa. Esa hora solo se dedica a los pequeños y a la familia.

A continuación les mostraré el circuito que realizo con mis pequeños. Puedes hacerlo en un lugar abierto o en casa.

- Una pelota, puede ser de fútbol o cualquier otra
- Una alfombra para yoga (mat)
- Dos papeleras 
- Y las ganas de jugar y pasarla bien

##### Calentamiento
Antes de hacer cualquier actividad física es importante calentar.
Nosotros decidimos realizar un trote suave y varios ejercicios para calentar nuestros músculos.

Estos ejercicios son importantes para los niños para mejorar la habilidad de atajar objetos en el aire. También mejoran su atención.

El niño debe tocar un extremo y luego el otro rápidamente. Debe estar atento al lanzar la pelota para luego patearla. Es divertido para ellos y cansa mucho.

Por último mi chipilín hizo cinco abdominales, ya que le cuesta mucho hacerla. Poco a poco van a notar que su resistencia mejora, realizan mejor la postura y subirán las repeticiones.

Al terminar el circuito pueden jugar lo que quieran. En esta oportunidad habían otros niños en el parque y ellos aprovecharon de compartir jugando a patear la pelota, las escondidas y papa caliente (es un juego donde se pasan la pelota los participantes mientras otro con los ojos cerrados dice “papa caliente” muchas veces hasta que dice “se quemó”. Al que le toque la pelota pierde. Es muy divertido 😂.

Así quedaron mis niños de tanto jugar y correr. La pasaron muy bien y quemaron muchas calorías ese día.

Con esta práctica, quiero que mis niños vuelvan a una rutina más dinámica y que se enamoren de realizar cualquier actividad física o deportiva para que sean unos adultos saludables y con hábitos de cuidarse. Esperemos que la pandemia pase prontamente para que nuestros pequeños puedan comenzar a practicar cualquier deporte sin ninguna limitación. Pero mientras esta situación se mantenga este tipo de circuitos puede ser una opción para que no suban de peso, adquieran resistencia y vayan obteniendo habilidades acordes a su crecimiento y edad.

In these pandemic times, it is difficult to take our children out to play as freely as we once did. Allowing them to participate in sports with other children their age without any restrictions is almost impossible.

For us as a family it has been a little difficult to cope with the pandemic with our children because as a result of this our little ones have become more sedentary, they are more obsessed with the tablet, cell phones, and computers. But who wouldn't be, if they are only at home without being able to go out? Although we try to get them to participate in family activities and do certain manual activities to distract them, this is not enough. 

A few weeks ago I took a close look at my two children and realized that they are really fat because of their sedentary lifestyle and I said: I have to do something so that they stop this sedentary life and then they don't get complicated with high-risk diseases due to obesity. Besides feeling guilty for not having noticed this situation before and because I like to exercise and since the pandemic began I do it at home. So I decided to design a circuit of about an hour and I started to implement it daily with my little ones and sometimes my husband also joins us and participates. It serves us all because we share as a family and burn some calories in company with our children.

My children are of school age, they are six and eight years old. It is precisely at this age that they need to exercise to strengthen their physical skills such as running, kicking, jumping, catching things in the air. Performing these movements keeps them attentive and they become more focused when doing physical activity.  In addition, they will have an emotionally healthy life and healthy physical development.

I was doing some more research on the benefits of physical activity in children and I want to share it with you:

- Their bones and muscles grow healthy and strong
- Strengthen the heart
- They have better posture and balance

With this practice, I want my children to return to a more dynamic routine and to fall in love with doing any physical activity or sport so that they can become healthy adults with habits of taking care of themselves. Let's hope that the pandemic passes quickly so that our little ones can start practicing any sport without any limitation.
