# MSTR stock is over $800 after being around $100 when first buying Bitcoin I feel like too much was made about that Bitcoin for Corporations Conference. It was great and all but all he really needed to do was show them one simple chart. Can you imagine if Michael Saylor went on the stage and said; look, I bought bitcoin here, and here's where our share price is now:  (Source: https://twitter.com/BTC_Archive/status/1357770008269639680/photo/1) When the majority of these guys all are thinking about how can help their stock price this is probably all they really care about. In fact I remember reading about that bitcoin mining company buying bitcoin simply because they said they thought it would boost their stock price. These corporate guys want their stock price up so they can sell their shares for more money, bitcoin is just the vehicle to get them there. Sure they like the idea of a store of value, but at the end of the day it's all about the monies! Show them the monies and they will show up big time. That could be an interesting way to build up a bitcoin stake if you spend a lot with your business.
