# Bitcoin is at a crossroads Which way do we go from here? On the one hand we could just be creating the second shoulder of an inverse head and shoulder pattern. On the other we could be starting our next bear market. One that slowly takes us lower and lower. I am extremely biased though. I just think with the halving and everything else bitcoin has going for it right now, up should have the least resistance. Though I am weary because a lot of people are expecting the same thing and markets love to do the opposite of what everyone expects, so there is that.

It looks like the bottom of that bearish prediction is in the mid 2000's. Considering Bitcoin has a track record of doubling every year since 2013 I don't think this is possible. ---- # 2020 Bitcoin baseline values. Bitcoin has been consistently bouncing off the doubling line for 7 years and no one talks about it. Just recently in December it perfectly hit the $6400 level twice. The year before that it hit $3200 exactly. It all depends on how much uncertainty. If just the right amount, bitcoin and gold go up. If it is sell everything and live underground, well then bitcoin doesn't do so well.
