I don't think I'll buy any packs in the first few days. If I do it might be one just to write an article about it. Besides that I'm just going to sit back and see how things move and figure out my plays then. It might be very well worth selling vouchers early and then buying packs at a later time if things cool off a bit. Lots of possibilities but until I see it play out I won't be able to tell yet.   For sure though I want about 100-200 packs opened during prelaunch just to get some of those rare cards and special perks. We also get air dropped cards over the course of it so there's a lot of great perks with buying early for a long term investor/player.

How about you? Any ideas on how you might play it?

Yes, I think the VOUCHER market could be crazy.  I don't know if it's genius on the part of the #Splinterlands crew, or diabolical to add another layer to buying packs.  You would have to think that with 15M packs, they should last for a while but who knows?  The hype is definitely very real at this point.  Plus, the game is FUN!  So it's hard to imagine they won't sell like crazy.  

I'm just going to stack as many VOUCHERs as I can and see what happens.  I'd like to at least get to one of the "bonus" levels but it could be expensive.  We'll see....  Crazy times!!!  But it sure is fun!  :-)

PS: About the voucher tokens per day from Index fund, remember one thing: you will continue to stake SPS during the distribution of vouchers. So there will be more than 95k staked SPS throughout the month.

I don't know if it's better to sell vouchers and just buy after the pre-sale. Some of those buy orders even before it comes out kind of signifies that the real of cost of buying these packs might not be worth it.
