Let's talk about time.....

Want to know a neat fun fact, we each have 1440 minutes a day.

Not a second more. 

No matter how much we try to spread it out, that's 24 hours a day for each of us.

And I've spoken about this before, about how you use that time that you are gifted. But on today's post, I wanted to discuss how we 'look' at that time we have...

You have 2 choices.....

#### You can SPEND your time!

Think of it like the bank of you!  Every day, you get 1440 minutes deposited into your account.  The money (time) drains no matter what you do.  No matter how much you want to slow it down, it's draining.

So you spend it....

- Maybe on a few episodes of Seinfeld.

- How about that football game on the weekend?

- Don't forget the endless clicking and scrolling on social media.

You choose to **SPEND** your time doing these activities.  And I'm not going to judge you, that's the beauty of choice.  You can choose to what with that 1440 deposited minutes any way you want.

**The other choice is that you can INVEST your time!**

I saw a brilliant post the other day when I was reading some daily devotionals I do.  It said if you choose to further your education by 'investing' 30 minutes a day into any skill you choose, you could generate the knowledge needed in a year that most won't acquire in their lifetime.

Think about this....

- You want to become a developer.

You may not have the funds to go to some Ivy league college but you can find a great online training platform and teach yourself how to code, by investing your time daily for a year.

- You want to learn about trading crypto.

Again, you can **'spend'** your time scrolling Twitter and Instagram...Or you can **'invest'** it in reading industry papers, articles, and doing research into the skills you wish to develop.

*It's all about choice.*

But remember that rule that we spoke about at the beginning of the post, we don't get a minute more.  And the bank is being drained every single second.

If we spend it, we are just a consumer.....However if we invest it, we are building our futures and making every second count.

Time is our most valuable asset, I truly hope we all invest. more time instead of just spending it every day.

I just spoke to my friend about this last week. He was telling me about how he is spending 30 minutes a day learning how to teach golf and that he plans to teach for a part time jab by the middle of next year   I hope he makes it.
