Things are progressing quite nicely as we gear up for the launch of SteemSavvy, so I wanted to keep you up to date with how things are looking from within the platform...

I added two new modules over the past week, each with lessons uploaded and created;

<strong>- The dApps of STEEM </strong>

<strong>- Tips & Tricks</strong>

The first will be an on-going module that so far will include dTube, Steemit, Partiko, SteemPress and Steepshot.  I plan to add many more as well, including Actifit (<em>which I just learned released it's iOS version!!!!! Special thanks to @underthekiltfarm for letting me in on that!</em>)

<strong>Note</strong>: The whole concept behind SteemSavvy is not only to teach people to become familiar with the basics of the blockchain, but an outgoing training platform for the future. Meaning, at launch we may not have ALL the dApps we will feature, but they will be added down the road...

The next module added this week was the 'Tips & Tricks' section which will introduce members to <a href="https://steemit.com/steemit/@jongolson/my-5-500-5000-plan-for-2018" rel="noopener" target="_blank">the 5-500-5000 Formula</a> as well as <a href="https://steemit.com/steemiteducation/@jongolson/trainingforlongtermsuccessonsteem-3tt0hq4h28" rel="noopener" target="_blank">the Savvy Cycle</a>.

But that's just the tip of the ice berg...

We will be continuing to add lessons in this module that will help users grow their accounts...With helpful advice and the best tools to aid in their journey.

Tonight I have also been working on the reward section for achievements. 

This will be so much fun when it's done. I truly believe we will encourage more learning and growth on STEEM with this drip fed method that will use a lot of gamification....

I can't wait to show that to you all :)

But I'm kinda stuck on something....<strong>And I'd love to hear your thoughts.</strong>

As you know, bid bots are still a thing here on STEEM. And there are tons of people that are for them and just as many against them...

I lean on the side of using them <strong>responsibly</strong>, and to promote my content (<em>like I'm sure I will do with this post</em>). Never on the side of making money with them!

Recently there has been a ton of controversy about STEEM based training and the use of bid bots in that training. SteemSavvy was going to include training on bot promotion...But now I'm concerned.

One side of the debate, I understand the need to stick out from the crowd. And bot promotion allows that. And before someone tells me it's all about quality content, I've been producing content here for 10 months to the BEST of my ability and still need bots to '<em>get out there</em>' and be seen.

On the other side...A lot of irresponsible bots and their owners allow '#$%^ Posts' to show up into the trending section. And I really don't want to contribute to that...

So the training I was going to include would be set up like this:

<strong>First lesson</strong> - Don't use bid bots until you understand the dynamics of STEEM and the in's and out's of it's community. The worst thing I think we can do for new Steemians is tell them to pay their way to the top.

The next lesson would be choosing the <strong>RIGHT</strong> bots and the responsible services that have STEEM's best interest in mind (<em>@SmartSteem, @Buildawhale, @PostPromoter, @BrandonFrye, etc...</em>)

But I'm really stuck and would love to hear your thoughts......

That being said...We're really close!
