They are very rare for us, but apparently they are more abundant than we can think, a few weeks ago an exoplanet was found that had all the characteristics to be an aquatic world, the finding was made by an international team of researchers led by Charles Cadieux from the University of Montreal in Canada.
<p><br></p>
The exoplanet is called TOI-1452 b. orbiting one of two stars in a binary system about a hundred light years away in the direction of the constellation Draco, this particular exoplanet is 70 percent larger in size and mass than earth and what's interesting is that is within the habitable zone of your system, that is, the zone where it receives an adequate temperature so that it is neither too hot nor too cold.

The researchers believe that this world could be very similar to the road planet that appears in the Star Wars saga, an oceanic world covered by a global ocean, when we talk about this type of world we talk about worlds that have a crust of water 100 kilometers wide. depth, it has much more water than exists on earth.
<p><br></p>
And a few days ago a new study was published in the science magazine that pointed out that there are many more aquatic worlds outside the solar system, they would have the appearance of the image above, specifically it seems that red dwarfs, which are smaller stars and more colder than the sun but also the most abundant type of star in the universe, they could be the most common place to find water worlds.

The aquatic worlds would be planets of similar sizes to the earth or somewhat larger, their climate could be very pleasant, but as I already said they would have much more water than there is on our planet, because although we have approximately three quarters covered by water, it turns out that our world is quite dry, on earth water is less than 1% of the earth's mass and the moons of Jupiter and Saturn there in proportion much more water and in these oceanic worlds they can have up to 50 percent of its water mass, we would no longer be talking about a crust covered by an ocean that is 100 kilometers thick, it could be hundreds of kilometers thick.

Some water worlds could be fixed by the gravity of their star and have a part of their hemisphere completely frozen while their hotter poles contain an ocean of liquid water.
<p><br></p>

They will have to rewrite the reasons why aliens invade us, because there are several movies in which aliens come to earth for water, it did not make any sense since water is much more abundant than previously believed, an example the moons of Jupiter.
