The moon once became the center of attention of the astronomical community, when the Chang'e-5 mission of the Chinese national space administration managed to introduce its probe into the orbit of the satellite after about 112 hours of flight, it is about the first emission of its kind that has been achieved since the 70s when the Soviet Union and the US reached the end of the famous space race and, most importantly, if this mission is successfully completed, China will become the third country in the world in bringing samples of the moon back to earth, because this is their main objective to obtain the youngest surface samples collected and returned to date.

La luna se convirtió una vez en el centro de atención de la comunidad astronómica, cuando la misión Chang´e-5 de la administración espacial nacional china logró introducir su sonda en la órbita del satélite tras cerca de 112 horas de vuelo, se trata de la primera emisión de estas características que se logra desde los años 70 cuando la unión soviética y EE.UU. llegaron al final de la famosa carrera espacial y lo más importante de concluir con éxito esta misión, china se convertirá en el tercer país del mundo en traer a la tierra muestras de la luna, porque este es su principal objetivo obtener las muestras de la superficie más jóvenes recogidas y devueltas hasta la fecha.

Rocas basálticas de tan sólo 121 mil millones de años aproximadamente, que comparadas con las misiones apolo son bastante jovencitas pues éstas alcanzaban entre los 31 y los 4,4 mil millones de años, estas rocas nos brindarán información clave para entender la actividad volcánica de la luna y así comprender el proceso de creación de este material rocoso relativamente nuevo y relacionarlo con la historia geológica de la luna, una vez recogidas las muestras la sonda se dividirá partes una de ellas regresará a la tierra entre el 15 y el 16 de diciembre y aterrizará en Mongolia según lo previsto con la valiosa carga en su interior.
