Los moldes para la fabricación de platicos son de gran tamaño y peso hechos en hierro o otros tipos de materiales según lo indique el proceso o la maquina donde será instalado, en su gran mayoría los moldes tienen que poseer una calefacción con resistencias y una refrigeración aparte ambas colocadas de la siguiente manera.

1.- distribuidores: estas son resistencias de gran tamaño y potencia, están colocadas en el interior de los moldes para calentar las zonas de entrada del plástico hacia el molde llevándolo hasta la salida.
