Sometimes happiness materializes and I can't stop feeling happiness after trying the demo, created by a fan, of Tomb Raider The Dagger of Xian. Despite not being something official, reliving the beginning of one of my favorite games of the Tomb Raider saga, under the Unreal Engine 4 graphics has been the best.

A pesar de no ser algo oficial, revivir el inicio de uno de mis juegos favoritos de la saga de Tomb Raider, bajo el motor grafico de Unreal Engine 4, ha sido de lo mejor.

After having played the last Tomb Raider trilogy, what they have achieved in this version is incredible, I even dare to say that I liked it more, maybe because of the fact of just adding graphics to what was already magnificent. I don't even want to imagine what would be achieved with a big budget.

Tomb Raider The Dagger of Xian was released in 1997, I had the opportunity to play it on PlayStation One. It is impossible to forget to start this adventure in the Chinese wall, which at that time was amazing graphically. Today only the memory remains, as technological advances make the graphical difference with previous generations more and more noticeable.

Es imposible olvidar iniciar esta aventura en la muralla China, que en aquel entonces fue increíble gráficamente. Hoy solo queda el recuerdo, pues los avances tecnológicos hacen que cada vez más se note la diferencia grafica con generaciones anteriores.

Don't think that I'm the type of person who likes graphics more than gameplay, on the contrary, I will always look for gameplay and a good story, rather than high quality graphics. Of course, when a game of this generation has quality graphics, it makes the gaming experience better.

> No pienses que soy ese tipo de personas que le gustan mas los gráficos que la jugabilidad, al contrario, yo siempre buscare jugabilidad y una buena historia, antes que una calidad grafica alta. Claro está, cuando un juego de esta generación, cuenta con gráficos de calidad, hace que la experiencia de juego sea mejor.

I was very surprised by the work made by Nicobass, they improved some aspects like jumping and climbing on the edges, I can say that the work is something similar to Tomb Raider Legend or the anniversary version of the first game, but it doesn't lose the essence of the 1997 game. If you have been a fan of Tomb Raider and enjoyed the 2 as I did, playing this version, with the Unreal Engine 4, will bring you good memories, but keeping the impression it caused at that time.

> Me ha sorprendido mucho el trabajo realizado por Nicobass, mejoraron algunos aspectos como el salto y escalar por los bordes, puedo decir que el trabajo es algo parecido a Tomb Raider Legend o la versión de aniversario del primer juego, pero no pierde la esencia del juego de 1997. Si has sido fan de Tomb Raider y disfrutaste el 2 como yo lo hice, jugar esta versión, con el motor de Unreal Engine 4, te va a traer buenos recuerdos, pero manteniendo la impresión que causo en aquella época.

Maybe we can mention that there are a few bugs, texture optimization and other things, but I keep in mind that this is not a multi-million dollar company and it's not a work that will be released with all these bugs fixed. Keeping that in mind, the whole demo is a real nostalgia hit for those Tomb Raider fans...

> Quizás podamos mencionar que hay unos cuentos fallos, optimización de texturas y otras cosas, pero mantengo presente que no se trata de una compañía de millones de dólares y no es un trabajo que saldrá a la venta con todos estos fallos arreglados. Teniendo eso presente, todo lo que dura el demo, es un verdadero golpe a la nostalgia para aquellos fans de Tomb Raider..

And yes, there were tigers, one of them attacked me by surprise, I really didn't remember that there were two tigers so I died in the battle XD. But I don't care, it was a good opportunity to use the famous Lara Croft's shotgun again.

> Y si, hubo tigres, uno de ellos me ataco por sorpresa, realmente no recordaba que eran dos tigres así que morí en la batalla XD. Pero no me importo, fue una según oportunidad para utilizar de nuevo la famosa escopeta de Lara Croft.
