 <hr> <hr> It's another guild week and this wasn't a bad outing. Overall, I can say it was a good outing because I won five games and lost two. This time I was unlucky in the two battles I played and my opponent bested me. In reality, the Guild battles have been enjoyable, even if the SPS rewards have drastically reduced, but the experience is better. Having more merit rewards has become harder these days, and to be very honest, I even prefer owning more merit rewards than having more SPS. The reason is simple. <hr>  <hr> More merit rewards increase your chances of being able to purchase more gladius cases, which in turn increases your chances of hitting a gold epic, or even a gold foil gladius legendary, which is convertible to tens of thousands of DEC which is primary more profitable than SPS rewards. This is why Gladius cards are not meant to be purchased. My chimney wallstop is one of my favorite Gladius cards and yesterday, I was able to upgrade it to level 3 which increased the speed to 2. <hr>  <hr> Away from Gladius. My favorite soulbound card, the coastal sentry is now up to level 6, and this means that this card has now acquired the **piercing ability**, which means more damage and more ability to inflict its double 4脳4 attack. Sweet!. However the problem now is that I cannot play it in the silver league, and I don't have a level 3 legendary summoner to play it. <hr>  <hr> I still need level 5 cards to be able to play this card in the gold league, but at the moment, most of my soulbound cards are still in level 4. SPS has had a nice run up to 2c again recently. Not sure what's behind it but definitely very welcome. Land is probably a good asset to get too if there's ever going to be another bull run.

Nice. The upgrades are slow but they add up over time. It takes a while to upgrade a card, but the new abilities and stats can really help in fights.
