I decided to visit HE yesterday and I decided to grab a couple PWR tokens. It is called HIVE POWER VENTURES, and @empoderat kickstarted the project last year. I've followed him for a long while and have been seeing him post about the project, but I've been too lazy to read up. *So yesterday I saw claudio83 talked about it and I decided to look into it* 

 Apparently, this project is functional and has benefits, and since I have some HE tokens and projects that are not really functional, I decided to sell a small portion of the majority of them for myself for about 100 PWR. 

I could have chosen to delegate to the project in order to earn some *ROI* on my Hive power delegation, but I decided that it would be better to accumulate the token gradually by purchasing it off the market. PWR is soft pegged to Hive, and you can either buy it on the market or delegate Hive power to the project. It



 is the "standard" for how some Hive projects work, and because the token receivers are likely to sell to profit, it pays them to hold it and continue accumulating Hive as a result of the project's support for holding the token and maintaining their delegations. 


So, because it is soft pegged to Hive, you do not have to be concerned about PWR being depegged or losing a significant amount of value. Although I believe the Hive soft peg concept will change in the future, it is a functional project with exciting plans from the project handler. 



Although Hive is on track for a bull run, and you may be thinking you should hold Hive instead, I am not sure if one PWR is likely to be the same as the value of Hive if Hive reaches $2, for example. 

Even if this is not the case, you are unlikely to invest all of your savings for the bull run, and you can gradually add to your portfolio with whatever disposable income you have available.

## 100 PWR

Currently, I have about 100 PWR for about 44$ (equivalent to the value of Hive as of yesterday), and holding this qualifies you for Curation once a week, though the weight varies. 

 It is not a subscription service, but rather a way to show appreciation for PWR holders, and any amount, no matter how small, can go a long way toward your accumulation. 

As for some of the HE token I've sold, perhaps next bear would be a fantastic time to accumulate them back..

I am not sure what my PWR target is, but because it is soft pegged to Hive, you might rely on the dips to accumulate cheaper PWR, but who knows, maybe someday I can own like 1k.
