I saw a promotional video about steem on steem and  the video didn't really fufil any promotional purpose, truth is I feel there should be two reasons why a person is promoting or advertising a prospect to an audience, it's either you want everyone to come in, or you want a selected number of people to come in. In other words Ponzi schemes often do the former with their bogus promotion, their focus is often to lure people in with the promises of untold wealth, no terms and conditions or even structure through which the business model will maintain a certain kind of longevity and when you see such a promotional ad on the Internet or maybe the mass media, you should really begin to guess or predict the goal of the company or prospect that's behind this kind of promotion.

But is this steem? No! I believe Steem isn't a bogus venture and we shouldn't make video and promotional ads that pride on just a social media window of making money. Take a look at steem nowadays? You don't even need to Post to make money, can I remind you of splinterland? can I remind of the returns of investment? *I believe we should pride on the business built on steem to promote steem* **who are our target audience when running a promotional ad?** Because I believe the fact that we keep talking about *mass adoption* doesn't really mean Steem needs every Tom, Dick and Harry to come in. I believe there's an amount of audience with the right behavior that can influence steem, our goals at this stage shouldn't be about targeting *"Mass adoption"* but the *right adoption* that will shape or frame steem.

In other words developments are one sole reason why should market steem, I'm not saying we should simply ignore the social media aspect but I believe the reason why steem chooses to evolve is because of the fact that it wants to have more utilities to suit business feature, social feature and a lot more. A promotional ad done for steem in 2017 shouldn't be the same promotional ad done for steem in 2020 and why is this? **The priority of Steem is changed, it's moved from looking for the multitude to looking for the selected chosen ones** and when we're selling steem alone with ads that speaks about just making money with social media features, we're only limiting the distance through which steem can go, how about the businesses we hope yo attract? Will they blog here too? Is that the focal point? what will be that determining factor that will drive them to steem?

That's why I feel professional should run the ad system, pattern, scope and methodology on steem. We're promoting amiss and this is a stealth observation that's I feel I can no longer ignore. I'm really not a technical person, neither do I have the technical skills to talk about how we can achieve this. I'm only making a marketing observation and being a person whose field is Mass journalism, advertising and public relations I think we're doing this promo thing wrongly, people like @andrachy, @acidyo @gtg and @tarazkp would obviously have ideas as to what I mean. I feel we can restructure our ad styling and I saw something done by ashtv and it was totally bogus and lacking basis. In essence steem has *Mass* but in public relations we need the right *publics* to grow a  venture. Steem has *Mass* already but how many of this Mass are *adopting* rather than *milking?* That's basically the question. 2019 was a year of development on steem and I can opinionatedly say it's been the best since steem's Inception.i feel we need to make 2020 a year of professional and smart promotion and not the amateur promotion people are doing just to gather whale Sympathy. 3speak has a huge role to play and they need to change their style and utilize it into something More fruitful.

A lot of people only know one aspect of Steem and promote it. Inna weird way, we can say they're correct in the sense that Steem actually has a social platform to make money and that could reach out to a certain audience. . It is up to those that know better to chip in to those videos.
