It is been two days since my last post, and it already feels like forever. I have been sick, and the flu has brought on some severe fevers and other symptoms. At first, I thought I could handle it, but it did not go as quickly as I had hoped, and I spent the entire time feeling nauseous, losing appetite, and drowsy, as well as reflecting on my life and other issues. 

Being on the sideline allows you to see clearly. When you are on the go, hustling for a living, living life, hanging out with people, getting a degree, cooking, or generally adding meaning to your life, you are mostly mindless and not thinking, but if you are in prison, out sick, recovering from a major surgery, or receiving a terminal diagnosis and having to put your life on hold because everything has changed, you start to see clearly. 



The hectic nature of life often causes us to lose sight of the larger aspects of our lives, which is how we manage to get by without worrying about the problems that surround us. 




When we are asymptomatic to life's problems, we tend to try to find meaning in other aspects of our lives and pretend the bad things do not exist; however, when we remove the things that mask our worries, we are forced to face them head on. 

This morning, I remembered a person who has not posted here in a while; the person has two accounts and mostly posts on both of them every day. It takes a lot of effort to post on just one account, let alone two, and they did so for years. I have not seen the person's post in a few months, and I only realized because I have been sick myself.

 Now I am wondering if it was just me who had not seen their post, or if I was too preoccupied with recent issues in my life to notice. I could not remember this person's username and am still trying to remember it, because if I do, I will make sure to check to see if they have truly stopped posting. 



Sometimes they were mistaken, or they simply got tired, or they found a really demanding job, or they left, just as some people will leave Hive in the coming years. Probably it was the "downvotes" that chased them away, or maybe something serious has happened to them, I cannot tell. 



## Humans Are Guilty Of Being Too Busy 



> *Until Something happens and we realize time is precious*


On a social space like this, we frequently meet people, get to know them on the surface, and follow them, but sometimes something silently happens to them that we are completely unaware of.

 It may take weeks, months, or even years for people to realize *"oh, this person has not been here in a long time"*, and sometimes we realize too late. Everyone is guilty of this, and it can take a deeper level of consciousness to improve.


 In reality, people hope for busy lives: work, eat, vacation, bed, sleep, family, rinse and repeat; however, something can happen to disrupt this pattern and cause you to notice something out of the ordinary about your life. Over the last few months, I have been on overdrive, trying to figure things out and forgetting I was not invincible anymore.


 In my 20s, I would go weeks at full throttle, hustling for a better life, but now I can not do it, and I am just trying to push my body harder, and oops! I broke down. Returning to health will necessitate a significant amount of time off, medication, and rest. 


***We feel Super Strong When Things Are Going Well*** but something always happen. 

> I miss everything. 

I miss not having to worry, just doing Clark Kent and Super girl stuff without it biting me back. At the end of the day, the world forgets everything. 

When you are no longer available to post the next "nice content" or update, it may take months or years for someone else to notice you have not done it, and that is because life moves at an unfair pace and simply leaves you behind.
