Sometimes ago I had a sizeable amount of money and the fear of using this fund ostentatiously made me think I could probably put this money in a prospect that could start generating profits in at least a year time, however even if I might never make profit at least I'll have a investment which Will appreciate with time but that was never meant to be, first of all I needed to look at my location to ascertain what I'll likely be putting my money into but in truth I was located in a place, a rural setting where the means of transportation to to the urban major market was cut off, so even if I chose to be a farmer or maybe establish a local wine brewery, how would I transport it to the the urban setting without spending so much due to the bad road? 

So access or a major channel of distribution was actually a major problem and this was something that could hinder me from getting patronised from customers from the city, many people hardly look at channel of distribution before actually starting off a business. For someone who is Into the business of perishable goods you can't afford not to have a quick access to your customers, it was a major barrier and this was because the government decided to turn our community into a railway access transportation so they destroyed the major roads which would have been a great access to transport goods and this affected every business person located in that particular area. Now in a rural setting you have to ask, how many people can afford your goods? Or are your major customers going to be from outside? For someone who opens a local pharmacy store in a rural setting, are you retailing? Would it be easier for the rural area to buy your goods and services? Are u located in an area when there's problems of mosquito and malaria, so anti malaria products is made available by your for quick purchase? 

All these questions and virtual instances will help a business that immediately meets the need of a people located in a geographic setting, but I was neither a pharmacist, I was a blogger who has a little amount of money with nothing to actually invest on. There will never be an opportunity especially in a place where there aren't, good roads, constant electricity or access to raw material or an availability of immediate consumers. This limits the chances of the prospect of a particular place. In all fairness after finishing my analysis I felt that building material was the best business I could actually establish and this is because, people are buying lands at cheaper rate and building houses at a fast pace. So the migration is actually happening faster because the cost of living in an urban setting is almost impossible so people are migration and of course the development is happening fast to this particular rural area which I'm located but still their business is located in the city so they know that they can't move their business because the road, the availability of consumers and the lack of choices.


Without a doubt, it struck me that I need to open up a shop where I can start making the availability of building materials but it turns out that some business minded people have actually taken the initiative years ago to become rich, so can I stand the competition being a small small business owner? Truthfully with building materials you don't even need electricity or the customers from the City, this is because my immediate customers are the one buying and that's actually one reason why people who owns such business or who were the early starters thrived a whole lot. So being a person located in a rural setting, it was difficult so lastly I opted to keep my money and started commercial farming on a small scale level, providing the need of the rural consumer, obviously till I can move.
