Accountability to oneself is a self evaluation of how we manage our personal finance in other to find an equilibrium to either being ostentatious or megre.

 A lot of people do not budget and this isn't economical. The main reason why there's a need to be economical in the first place is because of *scarcity* or a certain limitation in resources. Accountability and evaluation helps one faces their *truth*. 

While some people do not know that they're meagre or ostentatious when it comes to how they spend, eventually, they're let known by how their resources deplete. No one has unlimited resources because human wants and desires are expensive and insatiable.

Of course budgeting is important and I think writing down what they spend would probably be the first step towards accountability. I don't expect things to change over night but they just need to learn over time.

Talking about the spending I came to realize that the way people spend when they get more cash even from now till eternity their want won't still be satisfied because they will always want more and without budget they will end up spending all without having hope if seeing another one
