Watching the unconquerable plains of this cosmos

We wanted to kiss the tentacles of the sun.
and walk the sidewalks of lands unknown
I'm a soul seeking for solitude
like the ten commandments

Incoherent to the seashores of the mind.*

*We're returned, 
flew with fluttering wings enroute
but we returned haggard men with withering beards
the sunset was a deception too big for ejection
The world is but a mirage with buried mysteries
locked away like the beast in far away lands*

*Returned
the heart has seen many shipwrecks,
the liver is unable to seek some more,
We  sired aborted dreams, hatched infested visions
the end of the road was the beginning of the end,
but life is just a doorway to things unfathomable.*

### POETIC NOTES & ANALYSIS


<hr>


**Returned** is a poem that speaks about a quest taken by the writer and a group of people, as a result of their curiosity about life, they have the notion that they're young and being in exactly same spot and position is really too normal to waste their lives on.

The writer believed there was more to life as a result of this, he believed there are things far beyond the eyes of scientific discovery but yet they are present and it's of course life's biggest secrets, he believes he needs to travel to the end of the world in other to discover these things.

The writer however underwent a journey, and as a result of this he lost his youthfulness, bus youthful years which he could have used to live a normal life, it was evident in this line 

/**but we returned haggard men with withering beards**/

he however returned to confess that life was more than just a journey, he reiterated that he discovered secrets yet these secrets can only be uncovered by more secrets which of course he  couldn't find. He ended up returning broken and dissapointed and evidently old.
