The Last HPUD of 2024

It is the final HPUD of the year, and I have decided to make it better than the last. In November, I did a power-up of 100 Hive, so this time I decided to make it 230 Hive.

I would have liked to make it 300, but 230 was the highest I could go, and I am still enjoying it. Adding these power-ups together increases one's ability to earn more curation rewards, which we already know.

I could have continued with my usual 100 HP per month, but I wanted to make the year's final HPUD memorable and unique. I believe they all add up; it pays to power up at this point, why?

We are 31 days away from the official bull run year, and the curation reward you will receive in those 31 days could be worth x30 what it is now in 6 to 8 months. Think about it.

Technically, powered up Hive is better than Liquid Hive at the moment. I know there is a 12-week window in which you can take profit (power down) if the market changes significantly and convert to HBD for some of that APR, but I still believe it is too early, and instead of sitting on that liquid Hive, put it to good use and let it start working for you.

In reality, many people have a variety of strategies, but a wise man once said, "Do not target a specific price point to covert back to HBD or stables; instead, hold and wait until November 2025, and take full advantage."

This was not the exact quote of this person, but I rephrased it in my own words. Technically, many people would be unable to hold out until that point due to their fear of losing.

Many people will make mistakes during the upcoming bull run year, even if they stick to their plans and playbook to the letter, as I believe we all will.

I believe that some of the actions and decisions we make over the next 30 days will determine how strong we are going into the official run year. From next year, I believe everyone will have the opportunity to continue staking, stacking curation rewards, and marking more powerful connections, which should be your goal.

## Keep Stacking

For myself, I want to keep staking for as long as I can/have, and do everything I can. I have decided to finish the year with a stronger power-up than I had in the previous month.

Despite this, I am still as disappointed as ever. I wanted more than this, but I do not want to keep emphasizing how difficult things have been on almost every front. However, I am prepared. I will continue to curate the way I used to. The higher the HP, the more upvotes I can give, which is very exciting.

I have seen a lot of power-up posts from users, and I can tell you that *FOMO* is on the rise. A month ago, the market was still bearish before *MOONvember* occurred and the alts began to join the party. We can all agree that the alt season and cycle have been slow, with even slower momentum, but I believe it has begun. Happy HPUD to everyone; keep curating!

Love the quote from the wise man, I think we can be a bit impatient and make rash decisions without waiting for the time of maximum opportunity to arrive. I also expect the bull run to kick off later next year, especially for alts. Now is probably the last season to stack before tokens become relatively expensive to acquire in terms of their market value.

I agree, things are very red this morning. Wish it had been yesterday when I needed to buy some Hive for HSBI and HPUD, timing never seems to be quite right. $100K may not happen for awhile yet, it seems like a strong psychological barrier at this point and it's killing the alt markets. Just plain sucks...
