> *Image taken & owned by me*
Yesterday my ex-girlfriend came to my house and that was exactly 14 months since the time I saw her last, she said it's been a long time and that she's just come to say "hi". Personally I didn't have any problems with her coming to say *hi* but her body language was grandiose it was gloating and she had this kind of contorted snigger which made it easy for me to interpret her real intention of actually coming over. Truth is, we broke off on the wrongest of foot and I was specifically disappointed that I couldn't read between the lines earlier by paying attentions to details. She was someone I knew I couldn't be with, I knew it might turn out really bad but above all I knew the kind of person she was and the most terrible aspect was I still made the decision to be with her. *I resisted every aspect of reasonability because there was a greater yearning about her that became alluring and every moment spent with her was unreal and exhilarating and this blinded me to the fact that we had no future together.* **You see love is one of the reasons why people don't see the consequences of everything they do.** The most dangerous gangrene that comes with love is actually feeling the flawless emotion that comes with love howbeit with the wrong person, it paints the process of love with a bad colour and sometimes people go on for a long time having an aggrandized impressing about love and this stays with them for a very long time. In my own experience. I prided myself as the genius I felt I was but one thing I learnt from a boisterous one month relationship is that **love is a different kettle of fish from any other thing and when you go into it hoping to keep your head intact, then you'll lose your head in a magnitude that'll confuse you.** Sometimes we don't control the circumstances that surrounds the people we *feel things* for. Infact in the most unlikeliest of situations the wrong people is what appeals to us to more and we only begin to realised that we realised they were the wrong people but we never listened. When I actually saw her visit me I felt there wasn't no need for her to visit me except she wanted to actually see how my life's turned out all in 14 months and for her to in turn showcase herself so that I could read her, her countenance, her body language and even a change in the mood of dressing and well maybe get the impression that she's actually doing very fine without me. These things actually tells a lot about a person and she knew I pay a lot of cognisance to attention and to details and she came to flaunt the changes or difference to the person she use to and I didn't just find it psychological infringing, I found it unnecessary and austere **but one thing about love in the society I came from is that when love goes south, it goes sour for life** So the main reason why I narrated this experience is because *sometimes we go into romantic relationships knowing the repercussions and yet it doesn't convey rationality* but trust me there's nothing rational about love. Sometimes we decided to love or *feel things for people* and we realise somehow that it might not be so right, but we go ahead anyway. I felt the actions of my ex was rather ridiculous and in a normal sense she wouldn't have done that but she did and that's a realisation that under the influence of love, we're gullible, exposed, vengeful, overly excited which might be really wrong.

> **Interested in some more of my works?** . #### [Seeing The "Act Of Communication" As A Basis Through Which Every Human Foundation Is Erected](https://hive.blog/hive-148441/@josediccus/seeing-the-act-of-communication-as-a-basis-through-which-every-human-foundation-is-erected) #### [The Personal Principles Of A Writer That Ensures Continuous Creativity](https://hive.blog/hive-148441/@josediccus/the-personal-principles-of-a-writer-that-ensures-continuous-creativity) #### [Filth From The Eagle's Eye.
