In my last post, *[I talked about the psychology of attraction](https://hive.blog/hive-123046/@josediccus/the-psychology-of-attraction-simplified-for-basic-understanding-part-1)* so in this post I want to talk about the true intents and achievement of attraction. Truth is, attraction is an *Instinct* or an *impulse,* it is a response or feedback to what the human mind has come to perceive. It's a reaction to what is perceived, and it is diversely placed and differs in a lot of people. 


Truth is, one's *perception* to attraction can be caused and influenced. It can either be naturally or externally imbued. When a person is inadvertently attracted to a beautiful or a handsome person, it's a natural Impulse which they cannot control. However, an attraction to a skimpily dressed person is caused and not natural. A skimpily dressed person might not be attractive but the innate desires to be sexually allured can cause an ephemeral attraction. 


**For example,** love is an attraction that has more depth, infatuation is an attraction that is caused by ephemeral factor like loneliness. Love is an attraction, infatuation as well is an attraction, the factors that cause these attractions is how we tend to define it. But should our conditioning influence or determine the natural Impulse to how attraction should be placed?


 It shouldn't, but then it actually does. In most advanced human societies, it has become a norm for a rich person to marry a rich person, or let's say date. People who consider themselves to suit a particular bill expects people who are attracted to them to meet a particular requirement. Successful people are attracted to successful people, and it becomes mismatched when this isn't the case.

This is why people actually curtail or fine-tunes their tendencies to show attraction so that it wouldn't be evenly matched or displaced. A person without connection isn't supposed to be inclined to be attracted to connected or influential people because they have no basis through which they can bring this attraction to reality, hence it is totally considered to be *unreal*. 


This extends to so many actions. *Some people* who are good-looking feels inclined to people who are good-looking as well and finds it insulting when people who aren't make advances towards them, hence in some cases before love can happen a sort of physical attraction takes place as a primary determinant. But should this be so? I do not have an answer to this. *Our natural impulses will sometimes contradict what we deem to be right or wrong* and this is what our conscience often juxtapose our behavior and attitudes. 


However, so many people defy these popular construct to find attraction that's inexplicable to *human reasoning.* Attraction can somehow be discriminating, but then it's placed based on a lot of things; it can be environmental, psychological, biological or even social and this will Influence or displace the natural ground through which attraction can be based upon. 

However, this should also come with us being attracted to things that should really matter. **The wrong attraction can bring the wrong priority,** and this is the reality. Everyone however is entitled to how they're attracted. The true intention of attraction is to create an establishment, a purpose, a will and s desire through which all human relationship are built upon.

 Sometimes I feel that *the most viable* form of attraction should be attraction based on goals and aspirations. For example, a person who is struggling but trying hard to attain success. Now the fact that they are struggling in the first place isn't what attracts you to them because they cannot control the fact that they are born into struggles.


 What should attract you is that their goal is to leave that stage in life to attend a better state. This means that we shouldn't be attracted to people as a result of things that they cannot control, but we should be attracted to people as a result of things they are striving to control. This of course should be the true achievement of attraction.
