The concept of steemit is quite thrilling, post and earn on author and curation reward, even with the rate at which users registered in the month of september 2017 alone, the common notion will be that the massive crowdsource of witnesses and other whales have worked wonders in many ways, of course stastistically proven this is correct

However let's look at it psycologically, many of these users are from **FACEBOOK** where the get thousands of **"LIKES"** to just post nude or raunchy photos of themselves or with males or females alike.

You see at steemit, nude pictures won't get you upvotes, neither will being pretty or handsome do that. 

Many people gets the wrong orientation of steemit before they register, they are promise a lot of money, if they just post, however they've been disappointed because they posted *"TWO OR THREE SENTENCES POST"* multiple times and got nothing for it.

The **"TRENDING PORTAL"** have made this users feel they can make it big withing a week, not knowing that those guys in the trending portal have worked hard for many months to get to where they are.

Making money comes with pressure and the urge to make it quick makes it a herculean task.

When i became a new user here in september 12, i was coming from "A FACEBOOK" where i built a massive fanbase in seven years, however i earned nothing from it. Today i rank 50 on steemit in just 29 days, because of my mindset, and what is my mindset?

**"I WANT TO BE RICH, BUT I HAVE TO PAY A PRICE, I HAVE TO BE PATIENT,AND I HAVE TO WORK HARD"** however this mindset is not synonymous to other users, and after a few weeks of making virtually nothing, virtually half of these users resort back to facebook where hardwork is not required to get "LIKES"

However the notion of the people never changes, just in few weeks where they did virtually nothing, they resort to calling steemit **"A SCAM"**

I met a friend's friend who i told about steemit, and he was telling me he has over 5000 followers on facebook and that he would just go to steemit and make money, i laughed at his ignorance.
People feels that the ability to chat with people  can make them become rich how wrong they were and mostly they end up not having any impact at all.

I met @ayobami99 who gave me my first steemit lessons, i could not get the attention i needed when i first started, believe me, its fraustrating, but facebook was a no going back for me, i had bid all my first goodbye, i kept it going, and two days ago i withdrew my first SBD to bittrex, thanks to **@rufans**

i haven't done this alone i have had people with uttermost kindness, i've had to be humble, kill my anger and swallow my pride, in facebook you needn't rules, and thats why till today, most will prefer facebook to steemit.
