Hola amigos... Quiero contarles hoy sobre una
acontecimiento que presencié hace una semana atrás y que pude captar a través de una fotografía, pues por suerte tenía mi teléfono a la mano.

Forma parte de un gran numero de agricultores de la zona donde vivo (Sucre-Venezuela), vivo rodeado de montañas y poseo algunos terrenos en los que produzco algunas verduras y granos como yuca, ocumo, maíz, etc.

Hace unos días ocurrió algo que no es muy común para mi ver, a pesar de recurrir casi a diario al campo. Me encontraba trabajando en el desmalezamiento de unas plantas de ocumo, y de pronto observe un animalito que se encontraba de manera estática en una posición algo extraña, me acerqué un poco más y miré con detenimiento.
>A few days ago something happened that is not very common for me to see, despite the fact that I go to the countryside almost every day. I was working in the weeding of some ocumo plants, and suddenly I noticed a small animal that was in a static way in a strange position, I approached a little closer and looked carefully.
Pude observar que el animalito era un Grillo y estaba poniendo sus huevos.
>I could see that the animal was a cricket and was laying its eggs.
Esto me sorprendió mucho y rápidamente saqué el teléfono para tomar unas fotos pero sin molestarlo o mas bien molestarla, pues veriídicamente era una hembra. Así que tengo acá una fotos tomadas desde varias posiciones para compartirla con ustedes.

Pude conocer luego al investigar que cada grillo hembra pone hasta 200 huevos en la tierra húmeda o en raíces que sean lo suficientemente frescas, en camadas de 20 huevos aproximadamente. Ponen sus huevos en la tierra a cierta profundidad para protegerlos.
>I was able to learn from research that each female cricket lays up to 200 eggs in moist soil or in roots that are cool enough, in litters of about 20 eggs. They lay their eggs in the soil at a certain depth to protect them.
Los huevos permanecen unos 10 días bajo tierra hasta que nacen los grillos muy pequeñitos de apenas milímetros. Estos durante toda vida que dura unos meses según el ambiente donde viven, sufren algunas transformaciones o mudas. Estas mudas consisten en cambiar naturalmente su exoesqueleto o cubierta dura que lo recubre. Durante su evolución tienen 7 mudas aproximadamente hasta alcanzar el tamaño adulto.
>The eggs remain in the ground for about 10 days until the tiny crickets, which are only a few millimeters in size, hatch. During their life, which lasts a few months depending on the environment where they live, they undergo some transformations or molts. These molts consist of naturally changing their exoskeleton or hard covering. During their evolution they have approximately 7 molts until they reach adult size.
