Hoy les comparto como conocí el juego de las metras y él porque me gusta tanto, resulta que yo estudiaba tercer grado en un colegio en la tarde y por cosas de la vida mi maestra se enfermo y casi no teníamos clases, esto a mi mama le preocupaba mucho y busco opciones de otros colegios y consiguió un cupo para el siguiente años escolar y lo mejor en la mañana, y bueno el día que fui a la entrevista note que varios niños estaban jugando con unas bolitas de vidrio, me llamo mucho la atención y me quede observándolos en su juego, vi que se divertían y discutían no entendía el porqué, cuando salimos del colegio le pregunte a mi mama a cerca de ese juego y ella me dijo que eso eran metras pero que no sabía nada de cómo se jugaba que en sus tiempos de niñez era un juego de varones.

Bueno no perdí tiempo y converse con mi papa a cerca de las metras, que me explicara en qué consistía, y eso hiso, pero yo no entendí mucho, imagínense ustedes mis padres tienen por costumbre cuando nos buscan en el colegio a darnos unas sorpresitas como por ejemplo una nota diciéndome que me quiere, una galleta, chupeta o un caramelo y el primer viernes de estar en la nueva escuela mi mama me sorprendió con un paquete de metras, demasiada emoción ya que el siguiente lunes yo podía tener mis metras e involucrarme en el juego, que les puedo decir que me gusta mucho además de que me sirvió para conocer a mis nuevos compañeros en el nuevo colegio.

Y bueno en ese fin de semana le pedí a mi papa que me enseñara y en la sala de mi casa que es un apartamento utilizamos una alfombra y bueno tuve los primeros pasos en este juego, fue muy divertido, esto me llevo a entender las reglas y además de compartir con mi papa. Mi papa me dijo siempre que las metras no se prestan ni se regalan, que cada quien debe cuidarlas y sobre todas las cosas no llevarlas nunca a la boca, que ya yo estaba grandecito y debía entender esas cosas, al igual a no estar peleando, que debía entender la jugada y tener responsabilidad al decidir participar.

Desesperado a que llegara el lunes y me permitieron llevar una metra y la lleve en la cartuchera y la perdí, del paquete de 40 me quedan 39, después de tener mis primeras jugadas en el recreo la guarde en la cartuchera y se me salió por lo que les aconsejo llevarlas en un pote cerrado para que no perderla, yo pienso que fue una perdida rara ya que coloque la cartuchera en el bolso y fui al baño cuando regrese revise mi cartuchera y vi que no estaba mi metra y bueno se perdió, ya que las metras son redondas y chiquitas y rebotan mucho y hacen ruido y pues nadie escucho nada esto me sirvió para tener un embase cerrado para tenerlas en el bolsillo. Aquí obtuve un gran aprendizaje a no decir donde llevaba mis metras.

En el colegio se jugaba de diferentes maneras aprendí que esta el juego de la muerte es cuando chocas a la metra del contrario y con solo eso se pierde la metra, esta opción no la jugué ya que no quería perder mis metras. Pienso que es una manera tonta de perder las metras. La otra es de manera fácil que es cuando chocas a la metra del contrario y queda descalificado es una manera de practicar la precisión y puntería. Y de manera normal es un conjunto entre la muerte y fácil.
