Reading the call for entries post for this edition of **BlockchainPoets Weekly Prompt** with the theme **Despair** (see [here](https://peakd.com/hive-161465/@hive-161465/blockchainpoets-weekly-prompt-despair)), it occurred to me to rescue an old poem of mine, published in a newspaper then, and I think somewhere else, that I wrote from the conjunction of two great works: the novel *Despair* by [Vladimir Nabokov](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Nabokov) and the film of the same name, based on the novel, directed by German filmmaker [Rainer Werner Fassbinder](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainer_Werner_Fassbinder).

Tensed to solitude
a twisted tear
would seek the veins of your enjoyment
carnal fragmentation of a song in scream
or final burst that starts it all

Honestamente, no he leído el libro de Nabokov ni he visto la película de Fassbinder, pero conozco algunas de sus películas, sé cuán hondo pueden explorar la condición humana, y los lados más oscuros de la condición humana. Sí quisiera comentar el poema que escribes a partir de esas obras. Tu poema tiene imágenes muy poderosas y sugestivas, algunas de ellas muy duras, las cuales expresan el tema central, la desesperación. Destacaré las imágenes que me resultaron más líricas, más sugestivas: la mirada que busca un sorbo de luz en un encuentro de espejos,olores oscuros y ventanas desesperadas. Me encantó la sinestesia de esos versos que entrelazan lo sensorial (olores, oscuridad, espejos) con lo emotivo (las ventanas desesperadas, la desesperación). También me gustaron mucho los versos que siguen y hacen referencia al tema del doble, las historias que encuentran su héroe y su doble, es decir, el antihéroe, en la ilusión, la mentira del cine. Para cerrar el poema haciendo alusión a la soledad, a la lágrima "retorcida" después del goce. Es un extraordinario poema.

Agradezco mucho tu lectura atenta de mi post, y en particular del poema, del cual das una interpretación muy inteligente y sensible. La novela de Nabokov la leí después de haber visto el filme de Fassbinder, quien ejerció en mí una suerte de fascinación en mis tiempos mozos. Saludos, @beaescribe.
