When they finished their wine, the three said their good-byes then went their separate ways.  After leaving Silk and Jarius, Indy walked down the quiet corridors until he reached the entrance to the docking bay.  Here, he reached into his vest pocket and pulled out his identicard and displayed it to the security officer.  The grey garbed guard inserted the card into a reader, and then examined the man in front of him.  With a nod of his head, which brought the mustard colored undershirt into view, the guard handed him his identicard and let him pass.

Indy pocketed the card, gave the guard a careworn smile and thanked him, and then he walked down the hallway until he arrived at the door that led to his ship, a Cheyenne Class Cruiser, with a crew of two hundred and fifty.  As he passed through the hatchway, a low hum pervaded the air and he once again felt at home even going so far as to let a comfortable smile across his lips.

On the outside, the Quanah Parker appeared to be just like any of its brother or sister ships, but on the inside, she was filled with the best Star Fleet could provide; from the most powerful computers, to the powerful warp engines that pushed her through space at speeds up to warp nine point two.  When she wasn't on the border using her powerful sensors to spy on the Romulans or cardassians, she could be found orbiting any number of stars, using the same sensors for scientific research.

With all the confidence of a ship owner, even though he didn't own the Quanah Parker, he took down the main corridor.  He took only three steps before a stocky man with a phaser pistol stopped him.  "Dawn Star."  The black man said, starting a secret code.
	
Without even blinking, Indy gave the counter code, "Khariddis."

Satisfied that the code was correct, the man slipped the phaser into his pocket.  "Welcome back sir."

"Thank you Joel,” Indy greeted the security chief.  "If I'm needed, I'll be in the lab."

"I'll notify the bridge."  Joel offered, and even though he stood at attention, Indy could tell that he was waiting to be dismissed.

"Thanks Joel.  That will be all," Indy dismissed the security officer, then walked down the corridor, and took a turbo lift to deck seven.  After exiting the lift, he stood still for a moment and examined the corridor before heading toward the main office.  Upon finding the office, but not the chief science officer, Indy asked a passing ensign about his whereabouts.  With a smile, she told Indy that her superior was in the main lab working on a new dynascanner.
	
After thanking the ensign, Indy went to the lab and paused only long enough to place his hand, palm outwards on the door frame and wait while the computer read his palm print, blood type, and DNA sequences.  After examining the data, the computer beeped and the door slid back giving him access to the lab.  Here was where the geniuses from Star Fleet Intelligence had installed the best computer sensors and scientific equipment that they could find.
