The site of the world that until just a few hours ago **seemed to be safe** from the *Coronavirus*, is no longer, the first case has been detected in Brazil, recently, a man of I have arrived to many years, resident of Brazil turned out to be the first diagnosis made in this part of the continent, in this part of the world.


After hearing about it, I became even more reflective. It is not a lie that the world is in economic crisis, and that South America for different reasons (especially political) is in a very difficult period. Now, **what does the arrival of this virus in this part of the world mean?**

I am particularly concerned about this, if what is happening is happening in a country with the level of development of China, considered to be the world's economic power, then I cannot even imagine what the spread to all the sister countries of South America could mean. I hope that in Brazil, they can really contain the infection and prevent the spread, **but what if that doesn't happen?**

**Of course, I know that I am not the one to answer them, but nevertheless, they keep coming one after another**...

 What will happen if the disease is not contained and spreads to other latitudes of the continent?

Are governments prepared with material and human resources to care for tens, hundreds, thousands of sick people? 

Seeing what was happening in Europe and Asia **did governments succeed in preparing for a possible pandemic?**

**In matters of public safety ? What if food, medicine, masks, water, utilities start to be scarce?**

 Are the security forces prepared to face a possible emergency situation like the one that might arise? *taking as an example what is happening in other countries*...

Is there a special training day for health personnel specifically for this disease?




>### I wonder, many things... the answers I think are coming.

**NOT** I intend to be pessimistic or alarmist with this publication but I am particularly concerned about this situation. And being objective,* facing a disease that is largely unknown, that still has no cure or vaccine*, and considering a rather unstable regional economic situation, I think what could come may be very difficult for everyone.

It is up to us to be very rational in the use of the resources we have, **many or few**, since it is better to be cautious than to be surprised by things. Do not allow difficult situations to bring out the worst in you. Hard times are where you put yourself to the test, and these are the times when you get stronger. 

I am hopeful that things will not get out of control, however, time will determine.
