For most people, having to face the death of a family member is a traumatic experience, which produces a lot of pain and emotional suffering. Well, knowing that you are certainly not going to see that person dearly, produces a level of anxiety that is not easy to cope with.
The death of the mother, father, partner or child is part of the experience that generates the greatest emotional pain a person can suffer. There is no way, apparently, to make that sense of loss lighten, much less when the person is in that process, it is only days or months later when that new reality is internalized.
I think that as part of the training, both at home and in schools it is very necessary to address these issues, considering that death is something that all living beings have for sure to happen to us, sooner or later. It is necessary to accept it as part of life, that would help us as human beings to be able to live those moments with less suffering.
