I've been attending quite a few conferences this past year. Of course @DollarVigilante's Anarchapulco is mostly made up of Steemit users, however recently I was in Montana as many of you know for G. Edward Griffin's *The Red Pill Expo!*

I've been attempting to bring the word of Steemit to most everyone in the liberty community as well as those in the financial world. So far I've made Ed Griffin, Robert Kiyosaki and Lord Christopher Monckton aware of Steemit and that's just the start. I can't recall every conversation I had down in Montana recently regarding Steemit, but I talked to nearly every major speaker at the event about the platform.

*Of course* many of the replies I got were *"Is it a ponzi scheme"* to which I explained one doesn't necessarily have to put money into it and that their name and their product brings them value and demand. 

Many were incredibly interested in the idea, especially as most of the major dinosaur social medias are censoring and banning people all while YouTube censored and demonetizes videos destroying independent media journalists' careers. 

I'll be heading to *Freedom Fest* in Las Vegas in less than 2 weeks to spread the word further.

I really hope people start getting the word out more often! This IS the future of social media, we just have to get people to join! It can change their life if they work hard enough. People are living off of the money they make on Steemit INCLUDING MYSELF!

Now when I say *famous people,* I mean famous in *our* community. I'm not talking about Johnny Depp or Tom Hanks, but all the same, if you can get them on that could be pretty interesting. While I mention these semi-famous people in *our* world, of course don't *only* spread the word to big names. *It's just helpful, that's all.* Gotta get those networks moving on over to this platform!

I have made a point to stress the opportunities and untapped potential of Steemit and STEEM to my friends and family as well and it's starting to work. I've seen countless people join because of my efforts to bug them about it. 

As I've written about previously on Steemit, it's a *domino effect.* 
You get 5 people to join, they see the results, they get another 5 people each and eventually you've encouraged a million people to join. Let's just keep fighting for this incredible, decentralized, free service and say goodbye to the dinosaur social medias. 

The proof is in the pudding! Just show someone your wallet! They could be doing what they're doing *anyways* on Facebook and make money! What do they have to lose??

It's starting to work as Facebook is now censoring many Steemit posts. 
They feel us Steemians are a threat. Well they're not wrong. ;)
