New Zealand as an armed manic took the lives of 49 people. The horrible excuse for a human being doesn't deserve to be named but something that should irritate everyone is the attempts by the New Zealand government to politicize a tragedy. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern almost immediately following the shooting called for toughened gun control in the country. It's bad enough that people weren't able to defend themselves and that in one case it took 36 minutes for police to respond to the scene of the shooting, but now she's calling for people to be even more defenseless as if it would help innocent people. Prohibition doesn't work and the very notion of government, the biggest killer of all time lecturing the populace on safety and prevention measures is truly disgusting.
