Because I have been following their project for a year now. I bought AMP when it was $.17 and still have been holding at $.75. I could have more than quadrupled my investment already but I have held it because they have been building this platform for two years. AMP has held a steady value without anything being released. Now they finally have a beta ready to release in 4 days. When Steemit first released it's beta, steem got up to $4 and $5. At one time last year, Steem and AMP were worth the same price, $.22 and AMP had nothing to show for it while Steemit already had a beta out. Many have compared Steemit vs AMP being like myspace vs facebook, AMP being the facebook. I am all for Steemit, but I am also all for new platforms and new ideas. It will be similar to Steemit but much different.
