I Must Master the Camera That I Have in My Hands

<center>**Since when I started my studies in photography 4 years ago, my teacher always taught me to shoot in M (manual mode) because (according to him and after I also with practice I everything agree with), in M mode the photographer has control total on the reproduction and the preparation of the photo, being able to freely adjust the exposure, speed and sensitivity that best suits your vision, something that we don't find in the automatic mode**.</center>

<center>At first, it was very difficult for me to apply the manual mode on my street photos, because as the events are too fast, I lost a lot of time adjusting the camera so that the image suits the environment that I was inserted and it ended up losing the scenes that happened in front of me or I could even shoot, but the photos either came out too light (the photo "burst" as it says in the photographic language) or they were sub exposed, very dark.</center>

<center>**To prevent this, I always switch to the other camera functions such as** P (*auto program*), S (*shutter priority*), and A (*aperture priority f*), **but the photos never go as I wanted, and I had the difficulties which I described in the previous paragraph. But after all, a good photographer has to master the techniques of photographic reproduction, you have to know how to master your camera**.</center>

<center>With practice and experience I learned to leave my camera with a speed, exposure (*V*) and *ISO* already prepared for any type of photo that I perform on the street during the day and the results were improving and everything is happening today very naturally .</center>

<center>**The lesson was that my teacher was right. He has always said that the most important, vital and perhaps 'boring' part of photography is the mechanical part, much more than learning about composition and that the success of the photographer is entirely linked to the fact of knowing and mastering technically very well the camera that he has in his hands**.</center>

yeah. i got lazy recently and started shooting in auto, but really need to go back to manual and start practicing again as i think i was starting to get the hang of it.

man i hate the manual mode^^
It takes a while to just "know" what settings are needed for a certain scene. I always have to do some test shots before I can actually take pictures.

I haven't really used my camera since my hard drive crash. There were so many pictures on it, that I lost. It really hurt and I didn't want to make any new ones. I really want to start taking photos again.
