<div class="text-justify">The sisters held their breath as the creature advanced toward the wildflower-covered grave. It paused and sniffed the air, its elongated snout pointing at the plain headstone where their beloved mother lay.</div><P/>
<div class="text-justify">With an animalistic sob, the beast collapsed on the grave, its body convulsing with each breath. His eyes, so familiar, met those of the girls through the window.</div><P/>
<div class="text-justify">It was only an instant, but in that moment it all made sense. Mom was still watching over them, even from the other side, her undying love protecting them from the cruel curse she now carried.</div><P/>
<div class="text-justify">When the sun rose, only footprints remained in the clearing where the beast had been.</div><P/>
