It is sadly evident that even being in the 21st century, a century that in addition to what has been achieved in fundamental rights and scientific advances, augurs spectacular discoveries every day, Humanity continues to drag, like a cursed inheritance, the old homophobic stereotypes, inherited from a past that we would have to bury that under a solid layer of cement, like the obsolete nuclear power plants.
[Resulta tristemente evidente, que aun estando en el siglo XXI, un siglo que además de lo conseguido en derechos fundamentales y avances científicos, augura cada día espectaculares descubrimientos, la Humanidad continúe arrastrando, como una herencia maldita, los viejos estereotipos homófobos, heredados de un pasado que tendríamos que enterrar que bajo una sólida capa de cemento, como las obsoletas centrales nucleares].

In that sense, we should put our eyes more on Nature and its creatures and try to learn the lessons of compromise and coexistence that it continually gives us.
