[SPN-ENG] Allegation / Alegato

As a prelude to that recently declared Paseo de la Luz by UNESCO, the Art Station -former Atocha station- sometimes becomes, subjectively and metaphorically speaking, a place of symbols: at the end of a demonstration, this young man, with the Ukrainian flag wrapped around his waist, he looks dejected. Surely, he has not noticed the subliminal image that he offers to those who observe him from the other side of the platform, sitting precisely on that bench, as a plea for Art and Culture to become -hopefully, in a future that at least our children can enjoy in freedom - in the ideal ambassadors of a Peace, which prevails over the savage geopolitical interests that are making this world a true hell.

Como preludio de ese recientemente declarado Paseo de la Luz por la UNESCO, la Estación del Arte -antigua estación de Atocha- en ocasiones se convierte, subjetiva y metafóricamente hablando, en un lugar de símbolos: al final de una manifestación, este joven, con la bandera de Ucrania enrollada en su cintura, parece abatido. Seguramente, no se haya percatado de la imagen subliminal que ofrece a los que le observan desde el otro lado del andén, sentado, precisamente, en ese banco, como un alegato a que el Arte y la Cultura lleguen a convertirse -esperemos, que en un futuro que al menos puedan disfrutar en libertad nuestros hijos- en los embajadores ideales de una Paz, que prime por encima de los salvajes intereses geopolíticos que están haciendo de este mundo un verdadero infierno.
