 If in Germany the Volkswagen Beetle was the utility that enjoyed the most fame as the people's car par excellence, there is no doubt that in Spain this place of privilege was maintained, for many years, by this peculiar model, the Seat-600, which in its moment constituted the alma mater of the working classes and the fighting spirit of some roads, which were not always found in the best of states. Seeing it now, as an advertising claim in a shop window, not only makes a sigh of nostalgia but also makes us look back and think of those times when people, perhaps with more common sense than today, did not live beyond his means and was moderately happy, even with a vehicle of the most austere and elemental.
